Chapter 296 Their Request
He continued, “And don’t forget that big–shot politician, Mr. Powell. He went on a variety show with his wife, got loads of positive press, and now his career is booming. He’s even running for office!”
Jeremy kept tossing out more and more examples, like he was trying to sell Amelia on the idea of letting him tag along.
Honestly, if he ever went into sales, he’d probably be unbeatable.
But seriously, who were all those people he kept naming?
And why did he keep pointing out that they all took their wives on TV and blew up after that?
Wait, is he hinting that he wants to take his girlfriend?
“Alright, fine. If you want to join, just come. With your name and influence, do you think the director would say no?”
If Jeremy actually joined the show, Amelia was sure the crew would practically lay out a red carpet for him.
And if he threw in some sponsorship money, Victor would probably treat him like royalty.
Back then, business talk shows begged for interviews with him, but he always turned them down.
“Yeah, we’ll probably end up working together again. It’ll be fun.”
Ever since he’d worked with Amelia on set once, he couldn’t stay away. Whenever she was in a show or drama, he just had to be there.
Not just as part of the cast, but right by her side.
Even if there weren’t any romantic scenes, he was happy just being her
Fans already knew Amelia had signed on as the face of Nygard Group.
partner.
Her connection with the Nygards was complicated, but her loyal fans were decent people. They didn’t dig into her private life.
They just wanted to see what she’d do next.
When word spread that she was filming an ad with Jeremy, fans completely lost it. The comment section blew up in minutes.
Then came the news she’d joined Victor’s variety show. She’d be bringing Selena, the super–popular singer,
with her.
That sent everyone into a total frenzy.
Victor’s shows always had depth, and none of them had ever flopped.
With Amelia joining, unless something totally insane happened, her popularity was about to shoot

through the roof.
And now there was talk about a secret guest. Everyone was dying to know who it was.
[I can’t wait to see Amelia! She’s gonna kill it again.]
[Who’s the secret guest? I heard it’s Mr. Curran!]
[If it’s him, that’s perfect. The views will skyrocket.]
[I really hope Mr. Curran joins too! I still love that movie they did together.]
[I ship them so much. Please let them be real.]
[As long as it’s not Gianna. If it is, the whole show is doomed.]
[Exactly. She’s got no right to be there. She’s buried in scandals and probably blacklisted already.]
The show was already trending before it even aired. The hype was growing like crazy.
Victor and his team couldn’t stop smiling–they knew they’d hit the jackpot.
Inviting Amelia had been the smartest move.
Casting really was everything, and the results spoke for themselves.
Soon after, Victor arrived at Nygard Group with his assistant.
“Mr. Cross, since Nygard Group is sponsoring your show, it’s fair to ask for a few favors, right?”
Inside the office, the three Nygard brothers sat across from him, all looking sharp and serious.
“Of course,” Victor said. “If it’s within my power, I’ll make it happen.”
“Good. I don’t have any crazy demands,” Maxwell said smoothly. “Just make sure Nygard Group gets some promo and let Gianna join the show.”
He didn’t beat around the bush. He wanted Gianna in.
Even though that deal was between Nygard Group’s headquarters and Victor, Maxwell was in entertainment, so it made sense for him to bring it up.
