Chapter 2083: The Clan Leader’s Appearance

"Good heavens, he’s fighting five of our elders all by himself! What a freaking monster!" The Heavenly White Tiger Clan’s members were bewildered by what they were witnessing. A few even believed they were currently dreaming.

"What should we do?" One of the elders on standby asked the others.

"Maybe we should just attack them at once and get this over with," one of them suggested.

"You want twenty God Ascension cultivators to gang up on two Immortals? That would look terrible for our clan if news of it spreads!" another rejected the idea.

"And how do you think it currently looks now?! How will it look if he defeats even one of our elders?!" another elder snapped back.

The Eleventh Elder closed his eyes and sighed.

"Let’s just get this over with. As long as word doesn’t spread, it’ll be fine," he said a moment later.

He turned to look at one of the elders there with a suggestive gaze.

The elder gave a firm nod before swiftly weaving array symbols through the air. Once completed, a colossal formation rose around the Heavenly White Tiger Clan’s territory, shrouding it from the outside world, like a massive black curtain descending to conceal the chaos within.

"It’s ready," he said a moment later.

"Then let’s go." The Eleventh Elder took charge and joined the battle against Yuan.

Seeing this, the others followed.

In the blink of an eye, all twenty elders had joined the fray. Now, both Yuan and Feng Yuxiang had to deal with ten God Ascension cultivators at the same time.

"Young Master, I cannot deal with so many of them at once!" Feng Yuxiang said to him through voice transmission.

"You’ve done enough. Come back to me. I’ll deal with them," he said.

Feng Yuxiang nodded and immediately backed away from her fight.

"She’s running away!"

"Stop her!"

Although the elders tried to stop her, Feng Yuxiang’s speed was simply too fast for them, not to mention her True Primordial Fire that constantly blocked their path.

Upon reaching Yuan, she immediately dove into his body, entering his Dantian.

"What the—?"

The elders watching were stunned. A dragon allowing a phoenix into his Dantian? It defied everything they knew, as such trust between two ancient, opposing bloodlines was beyond comprehension.

"Yu Ning, I’ll have to rely on you again," Yuan suddenly said to her.

"Huh? Don’t tell me you want to do ’that’ again?"

"Don’t worry, I am no longer a mortal, and my understanding of Celestial Qi has improved significantly since we last did it."

"If you say so..."

Yu Ning began gathering Celestial Qi for Yuan, shocking the elders.

But moments later, a new aura surged forth, and when his eyes reopened, they glowed with a majestic, silver brilliance.

Yuan’s presence shifted dramatically, now radiating an unfathomable aura that sent a primal fear surging through the surrounding beasts, forcing them to bow to his very existence.

"What?!"

The elders were stunned to find themselves subconsciously kneeling before Yuan, their bodies betraying a reverence their minds had yet to accept.

"You wish to know my identity? Then allow me to tell you..."

Yuan’s voice rumbled like thunder, its resonance sending a chill through their entire being.

Just as the tension reached its peak, another formidable presence suddenly emerged. Though it was initially distant, it closed the gap in the blink of an eye, arriving with astonishing speed.

Yuan turned to face the newcomer—an imposing middle-aged man with long, flowing white and black hair, his expression naturally stern and commanding. He wore a robe split in half, black on one side and white on the other, with a white tiger emblem emblazoned on the black side.

This individual’s cultivation far surpassed that of the elders, standing at the 7th level of God Ascension.

"Clan Leader!" the elders exclaimed in disbelief, astonished that he had appeared so suddenly.

"There’s no need for you to act, Clan Leader! We can handle this ourselves!" The Eleventh Elder said.

However, the Clan Leader paid no heed to the elders, his gaze fixed solely on Yuan’s glowing silver eyes.

"So you have finally decided to show yourself, huh?" Yuan said, staring back at him.
