Ariel knew who Andre was.

He was one of the first batch of students who did their PhD program under Carlos. He and several other students were among the first to work on various research topics under Carlos‘ supervision.
Currently, Andre worked at the research institute as well. He was also considered one of the top–tier experts in their country.
Andre was the second–best option Nancy could find after she was forced to give up on asking Carlos to be her supervisor.
Chad made a sharp remark. “She’s pretty smart to have thought about approaching Mr. Jones instead. She’d still be able to form connections with someone working at the research institute this way. I’m guessing Jayson’s probably contributed quite a lot to making this happen.”
Ariel’s eyes were glued to the computer screen. Complex codes were reflected in those orbs. Her fingers were typing quickly on the keyboard.
“With Jayson backing her up and looking out for her, she would hardly face any hurdles or difficulties.”
Ariel reckoned she would not be able to avoid running into Nancy when conducting her research work at the institute later on.
Chad snickered and shrugged. “Your final exam score is higher than hers by 37 points. The postgraduate admissions exam would be the only time Nancy gets the chance to compete with you in a fair, unbiased environment.
“At the moment, she’s trying so hard to find her way into this circle. Eventually, she’ll come to realize she won’t ever be able to reach the level you’re at no matter how hard she tries.”
Nancy should not even entertain the thought of competing with Ariel.
Ariel had obtained the highest score a student had ever achieved in the final exam for that particular major throughout the years. Even if Ariel had made some bizarre requests to the Ashford University’s director, the director would probably gladly accept and fulfill all her requests.
Chad sincerely hoped that Nancy would be able to cope with the shock and disappointment once the university released the students‘ final exam results to the public.
Ariel stared silently at the computer screen for quite a while. She had also stopped typing on the keyboard. Her expression grew serious.
Chad thought something bad had happened. He was about to check what was on the screen when Ariel shot to her feet. “Gather the members of the tech department. I just tested the new flight control system. We can go for a test run now.”
Chad had a look of bewilderment on his face. He swiftly gathered all of the tech department’s engineers.
Since she joined Faye Technologies, whenever she wasn’t working on other projects, Ariel would certainly be working on developing the new flight control system.
After spending months refining the system, they finally settled on the final version.
The Faye Technologies team was fully ready for the next step.
Ariel and her team tested the new flight control system repeatedly over the next couple of days.

In the end, the new system demonstrated a stability rate of 99.99%. It could be applied to all high–end drone products found on the market right away.
Faye Technologies could also upgrade their latest drone product’s system to this new flight control systern and improve their product’s quality by leaps and bounds.
This was a one–in–a–million, cutting–edge technology! Their team had just made a significant, revolutionary breakthrough in drone technology.
They managed to find the solution to the stagnation in the development of that particular drone technology in their country. At the same time, they would be revolutionizing the industry’s existing scale and structure.
Chad immediately proceeded with the patent application. He also met and spoke to the staff at the patent office. As the inventor, Ariel had to sign her name as the first inventor on the documents for the patent application.
This major breakthrough would bring about a huge change and drive the rapid development of drone technology in their country.
“Let’s do an upgrade on the flight control system for all the products that we launched recently. Also, we’ll need to have some publicity for this.” Ariel discussed with Chad regarding upgrading their high–end drones‘ systems.
Chad had zero objections. Sometimes, he felt like he was in a daze. Ariel had single–handedly contributed to massive progress in their industry.
He had been grinning so much these days that his cheek muscles were growing sore.
“We’re ahead of more than 90 percent of the tech companies by at least five years in regard to how quickly we’ve developed this technology and had it patented now. Faye Tech is now in a position where we have absolute say in this matter.”
Ariel finally managed to accomplish one of the many things she wanted to do.
Meanwhile, Janice was put in charge of the publicity for the new flight control system Faye Technologies had developed, focusing on the highlight changes and novelty of their latest invention.
Just as they had expected, the news caused quite a buzz within the hour when the Faye Technologies team announced the new flight control system to the public.
The phones in their office were constantly ringing as they received phone calls almost every other minute. Chad was feeling both elated and troubled at the same time.
They were receiving numerous calls from individuals who wished to collaborate with Faye Technologies or obtain a patent license for the new flight control system.
Ariel had expected this.
If other companies wished to survive the harsh competition, these people would have to change their stance and make a decision in the shortest time possible.
Whether it was securing a collaboration with Faye Technologies or obtaining a patent license, these companies would only be able to remain competitive in the market by relying on Faye Technologies‘ latest, cutting–edge inventions.
Otherwise, they would be left behind and eventually be eliminated due to the market’s fierce competition.
Within a short span of a few days, Faye Technologies had come under the spotlight twice.
The first time was when Ariel was chosen as Carlos‘ only postgraduate student this year. The second time happened when the Faye Technologies team made this important breakthrough in drone technology.
