Chapter 547
Frederick pressed his lips together. He knew his words might offend, but seeing Nancy standing there, he couldn’t hold back.
“With Ariel’s mentor on the judging panel, who knows the scoring was truly fair? And… whether she actually wrote and developed all of this herself is uncertain either.”
No one could misinterpret what he meant. He was practically slapping the words “strong backing” across
Ariel’s face.
She was suddenly caught in a storm of accusations. It threatened not only her but Carlos‘ reputation as well.
The tension in the public competition shot to the max.
Jayson cast a side glance at Frederick.
Zach sneered. “Mr. Swanson, are you out of your mind? Are you questioning Ariel, Mr. Hockney, or the fairness of this competition?”
Although he was shocked by Ariel’s skill, he wouldn’t allow anyone to smear it for selfish reasons.
Cecilia arched an eyebrow at Jayson, a hint of meaning in her gaze. “What do you think, Mr. Larkin?”
Jayson didn’t turn to her. Looking up calmly, he said, “Then let’s make the key technical aspects public and reevaluate.”
Upon hearing that, Nancy suddenly pressed her lips together and kept quiet.
Ariel rarely showed a cold expression in public, but now she looked at Nancy, her eyes frosty. “If you’re still not satisfied, I don’t mind going again and modifying my code to compete with you.”
It was practically a complete rewrite!
Nancy’s heart skipped a beat. She stared at Ariel in disbelief. How could she dare bring up such a request?
At this level, even minor adjustments required mastery. A single mistake could collapse everything. How dare Ariel…
Nancy silently clenched her fists and didn’t respond. Instead, she fixed Ariel with a glare, “That’s meaningless. What I’m questioning is, Ms. Walker, your approach is very similar to mine. I expect an explanation.”
Even Chad couldn’t help but laugh through his frustration at those words.
He reviewed the data from both sides and couldn’t help ut note…
“Her flight trajectories and dynamic parameters do match Ari’s.” Chad frowned, equally perplexed.
Even Gary’s expression darkened at Nancy’s words.
What she said could easily plant biased assumptions about Ariel in anyone’s mind. And now, with the competition going live on certain platforms, Ariel’s reputation could be tainted for life if this wasn’t
clarified.
The judge was her mentor, the origin of her code was unclear, and her methods mirrored Nancy’s. Each

point on its own was damaging.
If Ariel didn’t have solid proof today, she would be crushed in this field, maybe even blacklisted by the government.
Carlos‘ face went cold. “Nancy, are you prepared to take responsibility for what you just said?”
A cold sweat ran down Nancy’s spine.
But at this point, there was no turning back. So much had happened. She had to go all in now.
