Dead at Heart (Ariel and Jayson) novel Chapter 837

Matt could tell what was going on from Kellan's words. He hissed. "He ran off from the wedding? Wait, that can't be right."

Who would run off from their wedding with their wife?

Betty frowned. "What exactly is he planning?"

Evelyn and the others all looked toward the hall.

Only ten minutes remained before the ceremony was set to begin.

Kellan wiped the sweat from his brow. He felt like he had lived a long life but never seen anything like this. "Mr. Larkin said to just settle the guests. You'll know when the time comes."

The group exchanged uneasy glances. Even though they were completely uncertain, there was no other choice at the moment.

After all, the couple had vanished! They didn't even know where they had gone.

Betty ordered, "Forget it. Let's just trust Jayson."

The setup was already perfect. No matter what, they had to pull this off.

Janice scratched her head and immediately tried calling Ariel, but the line was dead.

Janice was rendered speechless.

Did Ariel really see her as a friend? She didn't even tell her!

Turning around, she spotted Wade, who had already arrived.

Wade noticed her too.

Janice hadn't even managed to compose her expression when she saw Alicia approaching gracefully behind Wade.

When Alicia saw her, she smiled and waved—so warm and polite.

Janice felt uneasy, but she knew Alicia hadn't done anything to her. There was no reason to take out her frustration over Wade on her, so she simply nodded in return.

Chad came over and saw the scene. He walked up to Janice without changing his expression and tapped the back of her head. "Stop being such a fool."

Janice glared up at him, clutching her head.

Chad ignored her and pointed ahead. "Do you want to sit with him or with me?"

After all, Janice was Wade's fiancee now. It made sense for them to sit together.

Janice slumped a little, lowering her head. "He's with someone. I don't want to butt in."
