Not long after Anastasia got home, her phone started going off like crazy.
It started with just a couple texts, but then turned into a non stop notification fest.
Cassian was heading to the shower when he froze.
He turned around with a suspicious look. “Is Jasper spam texting you again?”
“Nope, blocked all his numbers forever ago,” Anastasia said.
She glanced at her phone and added, “It’s Tamia having a total meltdown about Yinsen. She says he’s completely lost his mind.”
Cassian laughed. “He probably forgot his meds this morning.”
??
“Wait, is he actually sick?” Anastasia asked.
Cassian chuckled. “Nah, he’s just kind of unhinged, so we love giving him shit about it. Griffin especially likes to joke that he forgot to take his crazy pills.”
“Ah, gotcha,” Anastasia said, still typing away on her phone.
She was probably trying to talk Tamia down, so Cassian headed into the bathroom.
When Cassian emerged from his shower, Anastasia was still glued to her phone, and there was this absolutely stunning white lace nightgown spread out on the bed.
Though… it was basically just strategically placed string.
Just looking at the lingerie made Cassian’s imagination run wild about how incredible Anastasia would look in it. His blood pressure spiked instantly.
“Shopping spree?” Cassian asked, his voice coming out rougher than intended.
Anastasia glanced up and noticed the way he was staring at her–like a predator eyeing prey.
She swallowed nervously. “Tamia gave it to me. Wedding present, apparently.”
Earlier, while the guys weren’t looking, Tamia had basically forced it into her hands.
The second Tamia saw that piece, she knew it screamed Anastasia. Like it was custom–made for her.
Anastasia had discovered it in her bag when she got home and awkwardly dumped it on the bed, just in time for Cassian’s grand entrance.
“So… what do you think?” Anastasia asked, her voice a little shaky.

Not bad.” Cassian said, though his eyes said a lot more than that.
His Adam’s apple moved like he was having trouble swallowing.
Anastasia grabbed the nightgown, and Cassian’s gaze followed her every movement like he was hypnotized.
She chucked it at him with a smirk. “Since you’re so into it, you can have it for the weekend.”
Before he could react. Anastasia made a run for it.
Cassian looked down at the delicate scrap of fabric that had landed at his feet, picking it up with equal parts amusement and frustration.
Like he could actually wear this thing.
When Anastasia came out of her shower, she flat–out refused to put on that nightgown. Luckily, Cassian didn’t push it, and she mentally exhaled in relief.
Meanwhile, Valeria had also slipped into some sexy lingerie, though she’d thrown on a white silk robe over it.
Whitney had coached her that showing everything upfront killed the mystique–you had to tease with glimpses to really drive
men crazy.
Valeria had absorbed every single one of Whitney’s tricks.
Plus, being Whitney’s daughter meant seduction basically ran in her DNA, making her movements naturally sultry.
Jasper had been buried in work in his study when he heard knocking. Irritation flashed across his face, but he managed to sound civil. “Yeah, come in.”
Valeria sashayed in, working her hips despite the baby bump. She’d been religious about staying in shape during her pregnancy, so aside from her belly, she still had that hourglass figure.
“Jasper…” Valeria purred seductively.
