“If I hadn’t spoken up back then, what would’ve become of the Stanley family?” Sharon asked with a half–smile, staring at Edwin’s face with a tilt of her head. 

Back then, the Genesis Group was about to go public, and preparations had been underway for two years. Eighty percent of Genesis Group’s products were endorsed by Tilda. If Tilda’s cheating turned into a public scandal, the Stanley family would be the ones to suffer losses. 

If the company failed to go public, Edwin’s two years of hard work would go down the drain. Sales would plummet plunging Genesis Group into an unprecedented financial crisis, and Edwin would become the laughingstock of the city for being cheated on.
