Dumping The Ice King His Mini-Tyrant novel Chapter 528

The mention of Selene's name instantly soured the joy Felicity had felt at seeing Harrison.

"You never used to talk to me like this, Harrison," she said, her voice tinged with sorrow.

"You stand in my company's lobby, in front of all my employees, and spread rumors that you're carrying my child. Do you really think I owe you any courtesy?"

Felicity shook her head frantically. "It's not a rumor! I am carrying your child!"

Harrison let out a cold, derisive laugh. "You're seriously ill." He pulled out his phone. "I'm calling your father and telling him to take you to a psychiatric hospital. Have you lost your mind or are you just hysterical? If you're sick, you need to get treatment."

"I am pregnant with your child!" she cried, clutching her stomach.

Harrison's voice rose, sharp and cutting. "I have never touched you! What are you, the Virgin Mary? Was this an immaculate conception?"

Felicity stood just a few feet away from him, yet it felt like an impassable chasm separated them. This man, who had once been so close, so attainable, was now a world away. The man who had once indulged her, tolerated her, and spoken to her in gentle tones was gone. In his place was a lion on the verge of rage, ready to pounce and tear out her throat.

But the more he pushed her away, the more desperately she wanted him.

"Do you remember," she began, her eyes vacant, "that you had your sperm frozen at the hospital?"

Harrison's head snapped up. Felicity took a step closer. "Harrison, this baby really is yours. I had a doctor perform artificial insemination using your sample."

A black Jeep pulled into the residential complex.

"Selene!"

The window rolled down, revealing Selene's impassive face. She looked at Victor with cool detachment. "What do you want?"

The sight of her face just infuriated him further. "Is this how you treat your own parents? You won't even let us through the main gate?"

After Harrison's repeated disturbances, Luke had significantly increased security in and around the complex. It was true; Victor and Matilda couldn't even get past the front gate.

"If you have something to say, say it quickly," Selene stated flatly.

"You little—"

Victor was about to launch into a lecture, but Selene was already raising the window.

Matilda's voice slipped through the closing gap. "Flick is pregnant with Harrison's child!" The window was already shut, but Matilda kept rapping on the glass. "Selene, you don't want Dames to be without a mother, do you? Instead of Harrison marrying some other woman, it would be so much better if Flick became Dames's new mom. Selene, please, talk to Dames, talk to Daph. If they tell Harrison they want Flick as their mother, he'll definitely agree!"
