**TITLE: Even the Night Couldn’t Silence Her Light**
**Chapter 285: The Maid Café**
I could hardly believe that he was grappling with such a serious issue.
Could a man really fabricate something so profound?
He certainly didn’t appear to be lying…
These swirling thoughts crowded her mind, causing her to lose sight of her original purpose.

She had intended to broach the subject of full custody of the two children, especially if he were to remarry and expand his family.
But now, in light of this unexpected revelation…
It seemed increasingly unlikely.
“Mommy! What are you and Jasper discussing? You both look so serious!”
The sudden interruption jolted her back to reality. “Oh, it’s nothing at all.”
Just the fact that you, Jasper, might struggle to have more children.
Jasper deftly shifted the conversation, gesturing toward the restaurant ahead. “We’ve arrived. Let’s head inside.”
She cast a glance at the restaurant, then back at him, her eyes wide with unspoken questions: Why here, of all places?
This flashy, trendy spot felt completely out of character for Jasper.
It wasn’t a venue he would typically choose.
His expression shifted slightly, revealing a hint of discomfort. He cleared his throat, attempting to explain. “I thought you might enjoy it.”
“I’m twenty-five, not fifteen,” she retorted, her tone playful yet firm.
“Then let’s switch it up,” he suggested, a hint of mischief in his voice.
She pointed towards the two little dumplings who were already eagerly marching inside. “Too late for that! They’re already in.”
With a resigned sigh, the two adults followed the children into the café.
This was no ordinary establishment; it was a renowned maid café, known for its extravagant décor that bordered on the excessive. The servers donned matching black and white maid uniforms, each one stunning and possessing sweet, melodic voices. It was a hotspot for the younger crowd, with many flocking here just to experience its unique charm.
As their family of four stepped through the entrance, they instantly became the center of attention, eyes drawn to them from every corner of the café.
The reason was simple: they were all strikingly attractive.
The adults were a family of celebrities, and the two children were exceptionally adorable, their demeanor suggesting they were anything but ordinary.
The most exuberant among them was Hubert, who was the first to gleefully raise four fingers. “Four! Could the lovely ladies please show us to our table?”
The waitress couldn’t help but beam at him. “Of course! It would be my pleasure. How old are you, little one?”
“Three!” he declared proudly.
“Such politeness at three years old—how delightful!”
Hubert felt a wave of shyness wash over him, retreating slightly behind Ann, who playfully poked his cheek. “Don’t hide, silly.”
The waitress gazed at them with admiration, her voice filled with warmth. “Guests, your children are absolutely precious, so smart and full of life! I’m envious!”
Tatiana merely smiled, neither confirming nor denying the compliment.
The waitress guided them to a table by the window, presenting them with menus.
“I’ll let you order first while I step away for a moment,” Tatiana said, excusing herself to the restroom.
“Guest, the restroom is just over there. Would you like me to escort you?”
“No, thank you. I can find it myself,” she replied, feeling a bit overwhelmed by the overly enthusiastic service typical of a maid café. She hurried off, eager to find some solitude.
