Chapter123
Terrence placed her in front of the washbasin, took her own
light blue electric toothbrush, squeezed toothpaste onto it, and
handed it to her.
If the heart couldn’t be a little stronger, it would be unable to
resist his tender affection like water.
Bethany took the toothbrush and brushed her teeth. The man leaned against the wall nearby, squinted his eyes, and said in a mellow tone, “I have canceled all my recent trips. I will leave work on time every day, and I will take care of the matter of you working at Ms. Guzman’s place.”
Bethany rinsed her mouth, put down the toothbrush, and
gestured towards Terrence, “Over there with Ms. Guzman, can I handle it myself?”
Her situation, she didn’t want to let Cassie’s hope rise and then shatter.
She deliberately said so in order to use this matter as a means to negotiate a divorce with him.
He never thought about finding a way to make Krista become

Cassie’s closed–door disciple.
He was very good at playing cards unconventionally.
If he had gone to talk to Cassie, she would have had more
troubles afterwards.
Terrence stared at her for a moment and said, “Alright, since
you are more familiar with Ms. Guzman, discuss and let me
know the work location, I will figure out a way to arrange it in
Rivermond.”
He compromised and accommodated so much, only to make the
family stable.
It was absolutely impossible to let her work in another city, as it
would have affected the harmony of the family.
Bethany didn’t say much, just waited a little longer.
He cared so much about Krista, she didn’t believe he would
neglect Krista’s career.
Bethany washed up, changed her clothes, and Terrence called
her to have breakfast together.
I didn’t see Emery and Krista.
Bethany didn’t want to ask more.
Chapter123
After dinner, Terrence took out a sun hat from the bedroom
that matched Bethany’s outfit for the day and placed it on her
head.
“Emery couldn’t hold back his desire to go to the amusement
park early in the morning. You weren’t feeling well last night, so
I didn’t let him wake you up. The driver took him there first,
and now it’s time for us to leave.”
Did he really want to take her out together?
There was a hint of anticipation in her eyes.
It was too late for her.
Terrence, however, took her hand and walked out.
He considerately opened the car door as he approached.
Bethany’s heart was in a state of chaos, feeling restless.
She dared not fall in love again, fearing that she would die in
still a bit uncomfortable.
