Terrence’s gentle and handsome face suddenly darkened. He
took a deep drag of his cigarette, and beautiful smoke rings
escaped from his mouth. He pinched the cigarette butt and half
of his body leaned into the car.
Bethany instinctively pressed her back against the seat back.
But Terrence threw the cigarette butt into the car’s ashtray.
This man, always so refined and elegant, makes people’s hearts.

Just now, he had already held the unfinished half–cigarette
between his thumb and index finger, annoyed to the point of
almost angrily flicking the cigarette butt away.
