Chapter154
Bethany didn’t move, still standing in place, her beautiful face
expressionless. She raised her hand, “Where’s my money?“.
Terrence raised his eyebrows and looked at Bethany, “I’m your
man, you come to the hospital, don’t even care about my injury,
just want money?”
Bethany signed, “There are so many people who care about you,
you don’t need me.”
She just wanted her money back.
Terrence’s lips curved slightly, “Seems like all this fuss lately has
been about jealousy, huh?”
“You’re overthinking it.”
She quickly waved her hand and answered him.
At first, she was jealous.
The man who once loved me with all his heart had another
woman in his heart, and he wrote her name all over the paper.
No matter which woman I changed to, she would still get
jealous.
Later, it slowly turned into disappointment and disillusionment.
She gave him a chance, wanting to clear everything up with
him.
Unfortunately, he didn’t even need to wait for her to explain, he
gave her a clear answer with his actions.
“Come here.”
His tone got a bit more serious this time, with a commanding
tone.
Bethany remained unfazed and repeated her gesture, “I want
my money.”
“Just behave a little, I will give you the money.”
There was a hint of threat in the man’s voice.
The hand gently patted the empty space on the bed again.
Bethany knew his temper, she didn’t do as he asked, he wasn’t
going to give her the money back.
She walked over and sat down on the edge of the bed.
Terrence gazed at her more deeply and said slowly, “Forgot to
tell you, you looked beautiful today!”
She was wearing a beige linen cotton dress that reached her ankles, with a light purple linen cardigan on top. Her black straight hair was braided into a loose twist, falling in front of her chest, giving off a lazy artistic vibe, making her look even
more gentle and quiet.
Bethany frowned, raised her hand, “I don’t want to talk about
these boring topics with you, give me the money Kyson gave
me, back to me.”
In her always clear and gentle eyes, there was a strong
determination.
“Beth.”
The man gently called her name, his voice so sweet that it made
her heart flutter. “I don’t want to be mad at you anymore. When
you bit me, I could feel your anger. Let it all out. After you finish your injection, come home with me. I’ll give you however much
money you need, okay?”
The tone was so gentle and mild, as if all those arguments at
home never happened.
Bethany couldn’t figure out this guy.
Emotions were free to come and go, with a strong inner
strength that no one could match.
But she didn’t need his fake kindness anymore.
Without waiting for her answer, he continued, “If you don’t like
Krista, I can ask her to move out. Beth, go home.”
Terrence’s deep, husky sexy voice was mixed with a lot of
tempting seduction.
One can easily get lost in it if not careful.
Bethany was momentarily stunned, but she quickly snapped
out of it.
She told Terrence with a firm gesture, “I don’t want anything
except my money.”
Terrence didn’t mean to be angry.
Everything that happened at Ruby Club last night made him
feel a bit guilty.
Over the years, we did neglect her a bit too much.
She was upset and in a bad mood, which is understandable.
“You silly, as long as you have money, then you marrying me
for seven years wasn’t in vain, understand, hmm?”
Yeah, she wasted seven years marrying him, does he want her
for another seven years?
Sorry.
She’s gone.
She only had six months.
