Terrence could tell that Kyson was making veiled insults, but he

ignored it. He just lifted his eyelids and stared at Bethany, “Are

you coming home with me to get married, or are you going to

watch the Mendez Group go bankrupt? Two choices, you pick!”

Bethany’s knuckles were clenched tight, gripping hard, and her

arms were even shaking a little.

“Dummy… don’t let him scare you, the Mendez Group wasn’t

that easy to go bankrupt, if you didn’t want to go back then

don’t go back, you really didn’t need to worry about me, you

finally got a new job opportunity and even saw more hope in

life, did you really want to give that up?”

Julio could see the hidden pain in her eyes, and suddenly, he felt

a bit guilty.

Julio just couldn’t take it anymore, kicked the chair away,

rushed over to Terrence in a few quick steps, and threw a

punch right at him.

Julio really put all his strength into that punch and smashed it

into the side of Terrence’s face.

Blood leaked from Terrence’s mouth.

Terrence slowly stuck out his thumb and wiped the blood from

the corner of his mouth.

Terrence didn’t fight back, and Julio didn’t even feel like hitting

him.

Terrence pulled a wet wipe from the table and slowly wiped the

blood off his fingertips. He suddenly thought Randy did a good

job with that move–at least it let him know Bethany cared about

the Mendez Group thing.

He slowly stood up, Julio was pretty tall too, about 1.85 meters.

At this height, even just a bit taller, there was a kind of pressure.

Terrence was six foot two, had that natural confidence of someone born with a silver spoon, and still had the upper hand

over Julio.

“Still wanna fight?” The man’s voice was low and calm, “We can keep going, but I, Terrence, don’t just take hits for nothing. One punch, the Mendez Group would pay a billion for it.”

Bethany listened to Terrence talking about money all the time,

and she was about to get mad.

She walked over, pushed Julio aside, slapped Terrence in the

face, then signed, “What about me? I slapped you. How many

billions do I have to pay you? Besides using money to control

people, what else can you do?”
