Chapter 281
She didn’t have time to keep arguing this case with Terrence.
Terrence would definitely try to find a lawyer to handle it. Even
if they locked him up for a while, his lawyer could bail him out.
She didn’t have much time left, it had been over five weeks
since she was diagnosed with cancer.
She just wanted to leave Terrence as fast as possible.
Randy suddenly got a message from Bethany and almost passed
out.
Terrence actually did this to Bethany?
Did he really need to do that?
If he wanted something and Bethany didn’t give it to him,
couldn’t he find a woman somewhere else?
Bethany was mute, and he raped like that. Was he sick?
Besides this reason, Randy really couldn’t think of any other
reason that would make Terrence force Bethany.
But we couldn’t take this lightly.
Chapter201
Randy just took the chance and fell straight down.
Soon, Terrence had just contacted the McConnell family’s.
doctor and hung up the phone when Jaydon’s call came in.
The voice was urgent: “Terrence, hurry to the hospital, Sir
McConnell fainted.”
“Fainted? Go see a doctor. What’s the point of coming to me? I’m
not a doctor, I can’t treat illnesses!”
After he finished speaking, Terrence hung up the phone right
away.
Jaydon said angrily on the phone, “That brat didn’t even come
back when Grandpa got sick!”
Randy saw that pretending to be sick didn’t work, so he just.
opened his eyes and said angrily, “You guys better figure
something out and get Terrence back for me!”
Jaydon blinked and asked, “Dad, you didn’t faint?”
“What? You’re not happy that I didn’t faint.”
Jaydon muttered, “No wonder Terrence wouldn’t come back,
maybe he guessed you were faking it!”
Randy’s face looked really awful. Having such a smart and
capable grandson, he really didn’t know if it was a good thing or
a bad thing.
Randy thought for a second, “Uh… Jaydon, go to the cemetery
now, mess up Terrence’s mom’s tombstone, then call Terrence.”
Jaydon’s face changed as soon as he heard it: “Dad, what kind of
crazy idea is this? You want me to go mess up Sabrina’s
tombstone? What if Sabrina comes to haunt me at night?”
The dead were important. Some things just had to be believed,
especially for families like theirs who valued their ancestors‘
protection.
“I’m asking you now, were you scared of Terrence’s mom
coming for you at night, or were you scared of Terrence going
to jail?”
“Terrence got in trouble?” Jaydon raised an eyebrow, “No way, I
don’t buy it.”
“Are you trying to piss me off? If it wasn’t real, would I have let
you mess with Terrence’s damn tombstone? Or are you
pretending to be sick now,
