Chapter285
Randy was about to be driven crazy by Jaydon. After leaving
the cemetery and getting in the car, he ordered the driver, Drive
to Vespera Villa.
Terrence just had surgery, the wound almost completely split
open, and a big part of his shirt was stained red.
I got a call from the lady doctor before I even got to the
apartment.
“Mr. McConnell, Mrs. McConnell was gone!”
“Got it.”
Terrence pressed his thin lips together. Since he had guessed it,
he wasn’t that surprised.
The reason the car kept coming this way was because there was
still a bit of hope in my heart.
Maybe she didn’t leave.
Until now, Terrence only just realized that she really wanted to
leave him.
Chapter285
But even if she was leaving, she still had to make things clear to
him.
What happened the night before last was totally an accident.
Other than that, he didn’t do anything else to let her down.
He didn’t let her leave without a word.
Terrence turned the car around and called Michael while
driving.
“Go to the airport and stop someone!”
Terrence didn’t say who to stop, but Michael got what he meant.
“I took some people over right away.”
“Also, send someone to keep a close eye on Mr. Mendez.“”
Bethany didn’t have many people she could turn to, just Julio
and Kyson.
Hung up the phone, Terrence called Kyson again.
Kyson’s phone was busy…
Bethany was already in Kyson’s car. Kyson was on the phone
with his assistant, arranging a helicopter.
It wasn’t possible to leave from the airport.
Terrence would definitely have someone watching over there,
so he had to take Bethany and leave from another city.
Kyson thought Rothya was the safest, and Terrence figured it
probably wasn’t that easy to reach into Rothya.
Bethany wanted to go abroad.
He had to fulfill her wish for her to make up for leaving her
alone at Vespera Villa last night.
If she hadn’t figured out a way to escape from Terrence herself,
who knew what would’ve happened to her.
Terrence kept calling Kyson. He just looked down to dial, and
when he looked up, a 9.6–meter truck was turning the corner.
He slammed on the brakes, jerked the wheel, and tried to dodge.
Kyson’s phone was connected to the car’s Bluetooth, and it just
got through.
“Terrence.”
There was a “bang.”
Terrence’s car hit the guardrail on the side of the road, and the

impact was pretty big. The airbags even came out.
The big truck was also braking hard, but its front still blocked
Terrence’s rear.
There was another “bang.”
“Terrence!”
I heard Terrence gagging on the phone, and a mouthful of blood
came out of his mouth.
