Chapter311
Cedric and Tabitha followed the medical staff and took
Terrence into a bedroom on the first floor.
Tabitha sat by the bed, holding Terrence’s hand tightly, “How
could you be so careless and get into a car accident? And after
the accident, you didn’t even stay in the hospital. You still came
all the way here like this. Is there something really important?”
“There was a bit of a misunderstanding between Bethany and
me, we had a little argument, she came over here, and I came to
pick her up.”
Cedric heard that Terrence was here for Bethany, and his tense
face finally relaxed. Then he said, “You’re in such a hurry to find
Bethany, but you really shouldn’t come here when you’re sick.
You don’t know how to take care of yourself at all.”
Tabitha grinned and said, “My granddaughter–in–law is here? Oh wow, that’s just great. How about I make some
arrangements tomorrow and send someone to pick her up? It’s
been seven years and I still haven’t met her.“”
Back then, the McConnell family was really mad, and they had
a big fight with the Sharkey family. In a fit of anger, both

families said we’re not talking to each other anymore.
But Terrence and Evangeline were their biological grandchildren, so they still kept in touch.
As for Terrence and Bethany getting married, Terrence kept it from them at first.
We didn’t keep in touch with the McConnell family over there,
and we never told them.
That girl Evangeline actually helped cover it up.
It was only later, after the news about Terrence having a son
that they found out.
came ou
After they found out, they asked Evangeline. Evangeline said
Terrence was being crazy and insisted on marrying a mute. She
thought it was embarrassing. Anyway, Terrence was hiding her
at home and wouldn’t let anyone see her, so she couldn’t be
bothered to tell others he got married.
Cedric and Tabitha thought, even if she was mute, it was
Terrence who wanted to marry her. He mentioned many times.
that he wanted to meet Bethany. Terrence said he would set up
a time, but he still hadn’t made any progress.
Later, they planned to come over and meet in person, but Cedric
and Tabitha were getting old, always in and out of the hospital, so they just couldn’t find the right time to come back.
Haven’t had a chance to meet the person yet.
If Krista hadn’t gone to Rivermond last time and brought Emery back, they probably still wouldn’t have met their great–great- grandchild.
“Grandma, she was mad at me, giving me the cold shoulder, she definitely wouldn’t come. I’d bring her over after she cooled off.”
“That’s true.” Tabitha said worriedly, “But you couldn’t go
explain it to her like this either.”
“It was fine as long as I could use a wheelchair in a few days.”
