Chapter332
Tabitha finished reading and said nervously, “Why are you suddenly getting divorced? I just saw you today!”
Right away, Tabitha glared at Terrence, “Terrence, did you something to bully Beth? You’d better tell me everything tonight.””

My son was already six, and I’d been married for seven years. How could I just get divorced so easily?
At that moment, Evangeline cut in, staring at Bethany unhappily, “Grandpa and Grandma met you for the first time today and they’re finally happy. Are you bringing up all this bad stuff on purpose to upset them? You said you left that marriage, left Terrence–do you really think you can find a better man than him?”
“Shut up!” Tabitha snapped at Evangeline, “You’re the older sister, how could you say something like that? Since they got married, they’re equal in rights. She can’t speak, you’re her sister, shouldn’t you protect her and stand up for her?”
“Grandma, I…” Evangeline was kind of at a loss for words, “Never mind, I won’t say it.”

Terrence’s eyes got even darker. He looked up at Evangeline and
said, “How many times have I warned you? Why can’t you ever
change your old habits?”
Evangeline felt really wronged. Grandma scolded her, and Terrence did too. She couldn’t sit still and snapped, “Then I’ll go back to my room, so I won’t bother you.”
After she finished speaking, Evangeline left.
She always thought Bethany was a mute and not good enough for Terrence.
Nothing else really.
She was the daughter of the McConnell family, had seen all kinds of good stuff, and when Tabitha gave the pearl bracelet to Bethany, she didn’t envy her.
After Evangeline left, Tabitha patted Bethany’s hand with concern, “No wonder you wanted a divorce, so Evangeline usually talked to you like that. Don’t worry, I’ll make sure to teach her well. I promise she won’t dare treat you like this again.”
Bethany let go of Tabitha’s hand and quickly typed another line, “Grandma Xu, Terrence and I were getting a divorce. It wasn’t just about these things, there really was no way to go back I

knew you meant well, but I had made up my mind about the
divorce. I had other things to do, so that was it for today. I was leaving first.”
Bethany showed Tabitha what she meant, then stood up. Out of respect and politeness for the old folks, she bowed to the two elders and turned to leave.
“Beth.”
Tabitha stood up and called out to her, “If there’s something wrong, we can talk it out. Do we really have to get divorced?”
Cedric got up too and said, “Yeah, let’s talk this over. The kid is already six. Are you really willing to get a divorce?”
When it came to the kids, there really wasn’t anything I couldn’t let go of.
I only saw Krista once, and I already started really disliking her mom for being mute.
Bethany gave a cool smile, then looked at Terrence. She typed a line for Kyson next to her–Kyson spoke for her.
“Some things, Beth said she didn’t want to talk about much, you two can ask Terrence, this marriage really couldn’t be saved, goodbye.”
