“I was going to take you to the McConnell’s manor in a bit, and

you were still staying there for now.”

Emery was there, and neither of them could please her, which

just made things worse, so it was better to send the son away

first.

Terrence still wanted to win Bethany back, and that barely

made her feel a bit better.

I hoped Mr. McConnell could open his eyes and see how good

Mrs. McConnell was. That Krista, no matter how you looked at

her, was a fake. She might have Mr. Emery wrapped around her

finger now, but who knew what would happen later.

own mom.

Terrence took Emery to the McConnells‘ villa, and when he left,

he gave Krista a call.

Terrence hadn’t reached out to her for several days.

She picked up the phone.

Terrence said, “I found you an animation movie project. I

already talked to Michael about the details. I’ll have him send

you the info later. If you’re interested, just do it. It has good

potential.”

“Thanks.”

now on, let Michael connect with you. If there’s anything, just

reach out to her.”

Krista held the computer, a bit stunned.

Krista listened to the beeping on the phone and felt like her

relationship with Terrence was getting more and more distant.
