Chapter411
Bethany asked Cassie to sit down and said, “I started treatment a
while ago, but I didn’t know if it would work, so I didn’t tell you
guys earlier. Julio was the one helping me the whole time. It
wasn’t until yesterday that I could talk normally”
Cassie looked at Julio and said, “Thank you so much, you
actually cured Beth’s aphasia. Your medical skills in this area.
could help a lot of people in the future.”
Julio was kind of embarrassed. He started looking into this
illness for just one reason–he hoped that one day Bethany could
talk.
It was also later during his clinical work that he found out so
many people actually had aphasia, and that’s when he started
having his assistants arrange to promote the treatment plan in
major hospitals.
“Ms. Guzman flattered me.“”
Bethany took out the gift box and said, “Dr. Mendez, thank you
for curing my long–term illness. This is a gift I prepared just for
you. I hope you like it.”
Chapter411
Julio was over the moon, feeling like his heart was filled with
honey, and took the beautifully wrapped gift box from
Bethany.
Kyson asked curiously, “Open it and see what the gift is, let me
have a look too.”
Julio was definitely a bit impatient too. This was a big surprise
for him.
Not far away, Terrence had already come in and saw with his
own eyes that Bethany had specially and separately prepared a
gift for Julio, and she had a smile on her face that he hadn’t seen
in a long time.
His cold, handsome features suddenly darkened.
Julio couldn’t wait to open the present.
Seeing the picture frame, Julio’s eyes got a little wet.
The person in the painting was actually him!
He leaned against the wall of Bethany’s house, with a gardenia
behind him. He looked like he was twelve.
She actually still remembered him back then.
“Beth really could cut. The people she cut out looked just like
drawings. Only she could get that kind of result.”
Kyson couldn’t help but say, nice job.
Julio knew she had this skill, and the portrait of a lady she drew
for his mom before was also really lifelike.
“Yeah, it looked a lot like Julio. That was you when you were a
kid, right?”
Cassie also saw the people in the picture frame.
Terrence couldn’t hold it in for a second, grabbed his crutch, and
hurried over.
The four of them were talking, so nobody noticed Terrence
coming over.
He just reached out and took the picture frame from Julio’s
hand.
In an instant, several people all looked up.
Even though Terrence hadn’t seen Julio when he was a
teenager, he could tell from the outline on the picture frame.
