He wasn’t home. Bethany thought it was Eliza and came to open the door. She saw it was Terrence and was about to close the

Bethany looked up, “Did you tell Krista about me following

him?”

Just meeting up, Darren probably didn’t even remember who

she was.

If Darren found out she was following him, he would definitely look into her too. She hadn’t changed her name at all. If Darren

remembered and figured out who she was, she probably

wouldn’t be safe either.

Terrence was really mad. He never planned to tell Krista at all.

He wanted to talk back right away, but after thinking about it,

he held it in and said calmly, “Haven’t told her yet.”

“You meant you could speak?”

“If you kept it from me and wouldn’t tell, I could only ask her to

between you two.”

Terrence deliberately put pressure on Bethany.

Bethany wouldn’t tell him why she knew Darren, so it had to be

something important.

“If you dared to do that, I would never forgive you.”

Bethany held the papers tightly in her hand, “So, you were really going to do that?”

“Tonight was Christmas Eve, let’s go out for dinner, just the three of us!”

Bethany curled her lips. The fox’s tail showed so soon.

“Is it that if I went to eat, you wouldn’t tell Krista?”

“Right.”

“You’re always so awful! Besides threatening people, what else

can you do? Since you’re so willing to tell Krista, then go ahead

and tell her.”
