Ex-Husband Begone novel Chapter 87

Chapter87

She actually put him on the blacklist!

Terrence quickly dialed Eliza’s phone again.

Eliza picked up.

“Where is Bethany?”

Since Bethany stopped taking care of the household chores,

Eliza has had a lot of work to do every day.

She got busy and forgot about this.

I don’t know if Bethany came back.

“Mr. McConnell, wait a moment, I will go to the room and have a

look.”

Last night, Mrs. McConnell took care of Mr. Emery all night,

maybe she came back after having breakfast to catch up on

sleep.

So she didn’t rush to make lunch.

Eliza knocked on the door, but there was no response.

Chapter87

She had to push the door open and found the bedroom empty,

the bed neatly made, with no signs of having been slept in.

“Mr. McConnell, Mrs. McConnell wasn’t in the room. She came.

back from the hospital in the morning and borrowed my phone

to call you. Then she said she wanted to have a croissant from

Felicity Bakery and left. I was working all along and didn’t

notice. She might not have come back after going out.”

It was indeed her who made the phone call.

“Why did she borrow your phone? Didn’t you tell her to remove

me from the blacklist?”

“I said, maybe Mrs. McConnell wanted to use that ring that

makes sound, so I called you with my phone, so she could talk to

you using her phone.””

“You contacted her as soon as possible, and if she came back,

remember to let me know!”

After saying that, Terrence hung up the phone.

She might not have had anything important either, they

couldn’t communicate over the phone normally, she might have

wanted to try the feeling of talking to him.

She did, just buy another phone, no need to borrow Eliza’s.

Chapter87

Thinking about it, Terrence gave Michael a phone call.

Today I went out to buy a new model of a three–fold

smartphone and delivered it to Vespera Villa.

“Did you give it to Mrs. McConnell?”

“Um.“”
