Chapter259
When dinner was ready, the lead chef said respectfully to Iris.
Iris nodded, said a couple more things to Nathaniel, then hung up and
went to eat.
“You guys could go down.”
After sitting down at the table, seeing the two chefs still standing nearby, Iris said.
The chef who spoke first just now nodded and said respectfully, “I’ll leave my assistant here. If you’re not satisfied with tonight’s dinner, he can help you change or handle it anytime.”
“No need, you guys can all go.” Iris said.
She didn’t have the habit of having people serve her meals.
The chef in front took a look at the assistant behind him, hesitated for a moment, then had to nod, “Okay, if you have any questions, just call us anytime.”

Realizing this, Iris was a little surprised.
She immediately put down the fork and got up to go to the bathroom, planning to throw up everything she had just eaten.

The door was closed again.
Suddenly, Iris turned her head to look.
The chef who just left came back, but only one of them–it was the
assistant.
He didn’t knock, didn’t ring the doorbell, and nobody opened the door, but this kitchen assistant just came in.
What about the bodyguards outside?
Knowing the visitor was up to no good, Iris’s first reaction wasn’t to question the chef’s assistant who broke in, but to rush to the coffee table in the living room, trying to grab her phone and make a call.
