Farewell to Love: The CEO's Desperate Chase novel Chapter 174

Tyler had just finished giving Jensen his orders when the news came in.

"Contact someone at Donovan Entertainment. Find this singer—Emy. We need to sign a supplemental agreement with her. The price is negotiable," Tyler said, his tone brisk.

Vivienne had used Emy's material without permission. Tyler didn't approve of her methods, but what was done was done—now it was up to him to clean up the mess.

After issuing his command, Tyler's thoughts drifted back to Emilia.

He couldn't help but wonder—if Emilia were in his position, how would she handle this?

But then he shook his head. Emilia would never let herself get into such a situation in the first place. And even if she did, she wouldn't care about these things.

The memory flashed in his mind again: Emilia, holding a little girl's hand as they strolled down the street. It was only a fleeting glimpse, but he still remembered the smile on her face. Even with a mask covering half of it, her eyes were bright with laughter.

How long had it been since he'd seen her smile like that?

His thoughts tangled and chaotic, Tyler rubbed his temples as a dull ache began to throb in his head.

Just then, Jensen hurried into the office.

"Mr. Erickson, there's an update regarding Mrs. Erickson…" Jensen hesitated, but still handed Tyler the tablet in his hand.

After all, this was already beyond what they could handle.

Tyler took the tablet.

On the screen were several photos: Emilia and Christian, chatting and laughing as they entered and exited Donovan Entertainment's building.

There were also photos of Christian making frequent visits to the hospital—clearly taken during Emilia's stay there.

The most recent was a short video clip: Emilia, carrying a little girl whose face had been blurred out, walking into a private dining room. Not long after, Christian arrived, carrying what looked like the child's belongings.

The headline was sensational:

**Tyler Betrayed: After days of silence, Emilia finally resurfaces—and it's explosive. The way she and Christian act, you'd think they're already living like a family of three.**

Jensen was prepared. He rattled off the address without missing a beat.

Without another word, Tyler grabbed his car keys and stormed out of The Erickson Building.

The truth was, the leak had come from Vivienne.

Not that she'd meant to provoke Tyler.

In Vivienne's eyes, she needed to force Serena's hand. Serena had always acted indifferent about Christian and Emilia, so Vivienne decided to hit her where it hurt. Once Serena saw these photos trending everywhere, Vivienne was sure she'd finally start resenting Emilia.

Besides, Vivienne needed a distraction—whether it was from the rumors swirling around her, or from Serena's upcoming performance. Exposing Emilia's supposed affair was the perfect way to shift the spotlight.

It wasn't her intention to enrage Tyler—but that was just collateral damage.

As for having used Emy's material, Vivienne didn't spare it a second thought. It had been ages since the first live broadcast of *Voice of the Divine*, and apart from a discreet cease-and-desist letter from Donovan Entertainment, nothing had happened.

That told her all she needed to know: they didn't have the nerve to take her on. All she'd have to do was negotiate a trade with them later, and the matter would be settled.
