They leaned against the edge of the gazebo, letting the sea breeze brush past them, chatting idly about nothing in particular.

Meanwhile, across the lawn, a group of tabloid photographers disguised as event staff could hardly believe their luck. They stared at their cameras, then back at the couple by the water.

One of them glanced at his partner, eyes wide. “Am I seeing things, or is that woman with Theodore actually Emilia?”

He repeated himself, as if needing confirmation: “That’s Emilia, right? Tyler’s ex-wife? The one who just finalized her divorce a few days ago?”

Another photographer swallowed hard and nodded. “You’re not seeing things. I saw her too. That’s definitely Emilia.”

“And…” The first one glanced down at his trembling hands, slick with sweat. “We got photos. Real, clear photos!”

His voice shook. “Should we ask if they want to buy the photos? This could be worth a fortune!”

He looked ready to march straight over and make an offer, but his colleague grabbed his arm. “Are you nuts? They’re on a date—Theodore would kill you if you interrupted!”
