Flora’s Guide to a Second Chance at Love and Life novel Chapter 1852

That was exactly why, after the little rebel ended up in jail, nobody dared to bail her out. No one wanted to go head-to-head with the Woods family or the Stonnell family in broad daylight.

“If you can get me the cooperation contracts between the Zhao and Qin families, I’ll let the whole thing with you slide. Once it’s done, I’ll send you and your parents abroad. After that, how you live is your business.”

“Alright, I’ll do it.” The girl agreed right away.

After she left, Jackson took the black backpack from her, reached inside, and found another photo—a woman this time, who looked like the head of the International Glam Association’s external division.

“She’s only in her early twenties and already knows this many powerful people? She’s something else,” Jackson said.

Fiona took the photo from him, her eyes fixed on the woman’s face. She smirked, “Of course she’s not simple. If she was, she wouldn’t have worked so hard to pull that stunt at the night market and try to trip us up.”

“If you hit back using her own tricks, won’t they get suspicious?” Jackson asked.

Fiona thought about it, then nodded. She reached out and laced her fingers through Jackson’s, holding his hand tight.

“They’ll definitely be suspicious. But isn’t that exactly what we want?”

Her smile was sly and knowing.

This time, using the little rebel to set Shelly’s dad and Jane’s dad against each other—let them fight like dogs—both families were long overdue for a shake-up. As for Amy, Fiona still couldn’t figure out why she was coming at her so hard.

“You’re always so sharp,” Jackson said, ruffling her hair. He pointed toward the guy crouched in the bushes, livestreaming them on his phone. “Let’s have someone take care of him. We can’t let this drag on.”

“I’ll handle it, big bro.”

They got in the car. In the rearview mirror, Fiona caught sight of the man still snapping photos, a cold glint in her eyes.

The fish hadn’t even started biting yet; she wasn’t about to pull in the line so soon. She’d wait until they ate their fill, then haul them all up at once. Only then would she see just how big her catch really was.
