“Someone get in here and beat him. Just don’t kill him,” the manager snapped, grabbing the heavy glass ashtray and smashing it against Johnny’s head.

He’d put in years of hard work here, just about to get the promotion he’d been dreaming of. Now, thanks to Johnny, everything was ruined.

The manager’s eyes burned red with anger. Usually, he’d look the other way, no matter how much trouble Johnny caused. But not tonight. Not after this.

“What are you all standing around for? Get to it!” the manager yelled.

Fiona stood up, quietly copied the security footage off the SD card, and turned to leave. The Golden Glow had all kinds of ways to deal with people. What mattered now was how the manager handled things.

“If you do this right, your promotion’s still possible. But if you screw it up, forget about moving up—you’ll be stuck as manager here for life,” she said.

Tyler patted the manager’s shoulder, giving him a quick, pointed smile. It was all up to the manager now.

With the evidence in hand, Fiona and Tyler walked out of Golden Glow.

The manager watched them leave, then wasted no time—he ordered the guards to clear out the place, leaving just Carson behind.

Everyone knew the rules at Golden Glow. No one wanted trouble. The rich kids got the message and headed out without arguing.

“Wait—what are you doing? I’m from the Kidd family! You can’t touch me!” he stammered.

The manager walked up and slapped him across the face, then kicked him hard in the jaw. Carson howled, clutching his chin, spitting out blood and two teeth onto the floor.

“You can’t! You can’t do this! The Kidd family is powerful in the States, if you—”

“You three, hold him down and get it over with. What a pain—almost screwed up my future tonight. Move fast and I’ll make sure you get a bonus,” the manager said.
