Flora’s Guide to a Second Chance at Love and Life novel Chapter 1964

Tyler didn’t waste any time. The second the lawsuit was filed online, everyone involved started getting calls and messages—one after another—nearly scaring them out of their minds.

They’d been so bold trash-talking online, never once thinking Fiona would actually take it this far. The competition was over, for crying out loud. Why couldn’t she just let it go?

“We already apologized! What else does she want from us? It’s not like we were the only ones saying that stuff. We were just calling it like we saw it. Nobody could have guessed things would flip around like this.”

“Just because other people kept quiet doesn’t mean they weren’t thinking the same thing. Why are we the ones getting sued? It’s not fair.”

“We get it, we messed up. Please drop the lawsuit. Unlike you, we’re not loaded—we work hard for every penny. Why are you doing this to us?”

They totally lost it, spamming International Glam’s official account with frantic comments and blowing up the DMs with desperate messages.

But nobody felt sorry for them. They had brought all this on themselves.

Meanwhile, Tyler set up a meeting with the Gregory family. After he helped them find the real Amy, the Gregorys had a total change of heart. Honestly, they’d always known deep down that the first Amy wasn’t their daughter. You can fake habits, but you can’t fake the way someone carries themselves—their voice, their manners, their whole vibe.

The Gregorys had been wanting to thank Tyler and Fiona with a dinner for ages. Now that they finally had a chance, Mr. and Mrs. Gregory weren’t about to miss out.

Fiona, on the other hand, walked out of Mr. Garcia’s office, got in her car, and left campus. The next time she showed up, it was at a fancy restaurant.

After everything that happened, Fiona had zero intention of flying under the radar anymore. If she was going to stand out, she was going all in.

She followed the suite number on her phone and headed straight to the private dining room. Jackson was already there, waiting for her.

Jane and Nash were there, too.

So Nash really was clueless. No wonder he always acted like she was off-limits at school.

“Slipped my mind,” Jackson replied, barely glancing up.

Nash stared at them, stunned. He looked at Jane, who looked completely unfazed. Clearly, she’d known the whole time. Figures he was the only one left in the dark.

Jane rolled her eyes and set down her chopsticks. “Nash, Jackson and Fiona only pretended to break up for the public. Try not to make it so obvious, okay?”

Jackson and Fiona hadn’t gotten back together officially since coming home—probably because there were still things they hadn’t sorted out.

Fiona was honestly impressed by Jane’s explanation. It was obvious Jane had grown a lot from this whole competition trip—she was learning how to read the room and see the bigger picture.
