Chapter 125
After dinner, as soon as Maggie returned home, she received a call from Johnny.
After learning the reason for Nolan’s call, he said, “Hardin and Hall? I already know them.”
Then he continued. “By the way, that Rex is actually Reed Hardin’s son. His dad is so impressive, I just don’t know why the son As so young and yet blind.”
Maggie hadn’t expected that Rex was Reed’s son, but it didn’t really concern her.
On Tuesday, the initial test for Wilson Tech’s self–driving car was scheduled. Maggie and Johnny went to Wilson Tech early in the morning.
By the time they arrived, Rex and Yves had already been there.
When they saw them, they just glanced briefly and then looked away.
Johnny wasn’t bothered and pulled Maggie to begin the test work.
Seeing that the preliminary preparations were complete but no one had started testing, Johnny asked, “Why haven’t we started?”
President Kim replied, “Mr. Wilson will personally come to check the testing situation. Once he arrives, we’ll start.”
Johnny said, “…Oh.”
Then he remembered something and asked, “By the way, why haven’t I seen Miss Brown today? Didn’t she say she was coming to Wilson Tech to improve herself?”
Why had she disappeared after only a few days?
President Kim laughed, “Oh, Miss Brown wanted to improve herself, right? Mr. Wilson said the fastest and best way to improve is to lead a team and do a project.
So, last week, Mr. Wilson had someone reorganize a previously shelved company project. These past two days, Miss Brown–no, she should be called Director Brown now–she formed a team and is having a meeting upstairs.”
Johnny was taken aback.
He turned to look at Maggie and saw that she was writing down the previous test details, showing no reaction to Kim’s comment about Mr. Wilson assembling a team for Julia.
He sighed and patted her head.
Maggie swatted his hand away, “Stop it.”
Johnny didn’t respond, but from the tone, it seemed like she was no longer bothered.
He was relieved.

Chapter 125
At that moment, Franklin arrived, accompanied by Harry and Levi.
Harry and Levi seemed surprised to see them.
When they saw Maggie, they were visibly shocked.
Maggie didn’t show any emotion, glancing at them before quickly looking away.
Franklin, however, politely greeted them, “Thank you for your hard work, everyone.”
Kim said. “Mr. Wilson, can we start now..?”
“Wait, we’re waiting for one more person.” Franklin checked his watch, “I’ll go upstairs to check, please wait here for a
moment.”
With that, he left.
Maggie didn’t intend to think too much about it, but she knew that the person Franklin was referring to was Julia. In other words, they would start the official test after Julia finished her meeting.
Johnny evidently realized the same thing and gritted his teeth, nearly swearing.
Franklin and Julia soon came downstairs together.
They were accompanied by Sophia.
Maggie didn’t care about why Sophia was dressed in a professional suit at Wilson Tech, nor did she care about her attitude.
Julia’s apology seemed sincere, but she only directed it towards Rex, Yves, and Johnny.
Franklin, who arrived at that moment, politely said, “It’s our fault. Mr. Gray, please.”
