Chapter 139
Maggie opened her computer, ignored the call, and continued to work on her paper.
Seeing that Maggiei still wasn’t answering, but Franklin was about to leave,
Isabella said, “Dad, Mom still won’t pick up. Can you call her for me?”
Franklin didn’t say much. He used his own phone to call Maggie.
Maggie saw the call, reached over, and hung up.
Franklin looked at her, paused, and said, “Mom didn’t pick up Dad’s call either.”
“Maybe Mom was busy and didn’t see it?”
Otherwise, Mom wouldn’t have ignored Dad’s call.
“Maybe.” Franklin put on his suit jacket and grabbed a black coat, saying, “I’m leaving. You can go out with the bodyguard if you want to play.”
“But I want Mom to come with me…”
Although she didn’t like it when her mom was too controlling, sometimes she still wanted her to accompany her.
She pouted again and asked, “Dad, are you going to the hospital to see Aunt Julie, or back to the
company?”
“First to the hospital, then back to the company.” Franklin lightly tapped her on the forehead and said, “I’m leaving. You go and have fun.”
Isabella sighed and said, “Okay…”
She called Maggie two more times, but still, there was no answer.
So, she had no choice but to ask the bodyguard and the housekeeper to go with her to play.
But without the person she liked to be with, she couldn’t enjoy skiing. She came back home in a gloomy mood not long after.

Aher leaving the hospital, Franklin returned to Wilson Group,
He had just arrived when Levi came,
Frankdin glanced at him, and Levi smiled and said, “Came to watch the show?”
Before Franklin could reply, Chad came over to inform him, “Lawyer Blake is here.”
Franklin said, “Please send him up.”
Chad led Paul to the guest reception room.
Franklin shook his hand and said, “Please, sit.”
Paul didn’t waste time. He sat down and immediately took out the divorce agreement that Maggie had signed yesterday, pushing it toward Franklin,
Franklin took it.
It was the weekend, and Levi had specially come to see if Maggie really signed the papers.
Seeing that she had indeed signed, he was surprised. “She really signed?”
, Franklin glanced at the name Maggie had signed, showing no reaction, and then began talking with Paul.
After discussing for a while, he said, “The properties and shares listed in the agreement are too many. I need some time to process the changes. Once everything is settled, I’ll contact you again.”
Paul said, “Okay.”
Franklin told Chad, “Chad, please see Mr. Blake out.”
After leaving Wilson Group, Paul contacted Maggie to inform her of the result.
He handed her the phone to show her: “It’s a call from Rex Hardin.”
They were both in the same circle. Although they didn’t interact much, they still had each other’s contact.
