On the way to Wilson Tech, Grandma Wilson called Maggie.
Maggie answered, “Grandma.”
“Ah.” Grandma Wilson’s voice was warm with affection.
“A few days ago, Isabella mentioned that you’ve been extremely busy with work, sometimes even staying up all night.
Someone just sent me some tonics, so I had some delivered to you. Make sure to have them stewed and eat them, alright?”
Maggie knew that even if she declined, Grandma Wilson wouldn’t take no for an answer. She could only
reply, “I will. Thank you, Grandma.”
Grandma Wilson chuckled and, as if recalling something, added, “By the way, I spoke with Franklin a while ago. He agreed to get along with you.
After all, no matter what, you are both Isabella’s parents. If your relationship is too strained, it won’t be
good for Isabella’s growth and well–being.”
So that’s why Franklin had behaved so differently at the seminar that day?
Maggie responded indifferently, “Alright, I understand.”
After chatting with Grandma Wilson for a while, she ended the call.
When she arrived at Wilson, Julia was nowhere to be seen.

General Manager Kim spotted her and greeted her with a smile, “Miss Miller, did you receive any flowers today? It is Valentine’s Day, after all.”
Before Maggie could reply, a Cole employee who had come to Wilson Tech with her chimed in, “Of
course! A huge bouquet of roses–everyone was so envious!”
Kim laughed, but before he could say anything, Sophia suddenly appeared out of nowhere and interjected, “Just flowers? Nothing else?”
The Cole employee hesitated. “Uh…”

“So it really is just flowers?” Sophia sneered. “You all are hilarious. It’s just a bouquet of roses. What’s there to be envious about? My cousin received a pile of gifts this morning, and my future brother–in–law even gave her Wilson Tech’s shares. Guess what she said?”
Kim: “…”
Well, there was no way to argue against that.
But was this really something worth comparing?
Seeing that Maggie might not be aware of the situation, Kim quietly explained to her, “It’s well known that Director Brown is quite popular in elite circles–she’s the dream girl of many wealthy heirs.
While no one dares to openly pursue her because of our President Wilson, today is Valentine’s Day, and
some of them couldn’t resist. They anonymously sent her flowers and gifts, filling her entire office.”
Before Maggie could respond, he continued, “But of course, our President Wilson is no ordinary man.
That’s why he was able to win her heart. From what I’ve heard, he directly transferred some of our
company’s shares to Director Brown as a Valentine’s Day gift!”
“He spoils his girlfriend like no one else. Everyone in the company was beyond envious when they heard the news this morning!”
Maggie had always suspected that one day, Wilson Tech might bear the surname Brown instead of
Wilson.
After all, Julia had free access to company secrets, and Landon and Sophia could come and go as they
pleased.
Now, hearing Kim’s words, she wasn’t surprised at all.
Franklin had deliberately chosen Valentine’s Day to transfer the shares, making it clear that he not only wanted to gift Julia a portion of the company but also ensure the gesture was meaningful and ceremonial.
His affection for Julia was unmistakable.
Kim quickly smiled. “Director Brown, is your meeting over?”
