After sending the message, Maggie put her phone aside and continued with her work.

The next morning, just after arriving at the company, her phone rang again.

It was a message from Franklin.

Saturday morning.

Maggie drove to Grandfather Yves’s old residence.

Most of the Yves family were abroad, so when Maggie arrived at the old residence, besides a few servants, Grandfather Yves was the only one there.

When he found out she had arrived, Grandfather Yves personally came out to greet her. “Our Maggie is here?”

They chatted while drinking tea, and about twenty minutes later, one of the servants came in and said

“Grandfather Yves,” Franklin called again, clearly displeased by Grandfather Yves’s attitude toward Julia.
