Mr. CEO Your Wife Has Wanted a Divorce for a Long Time (by Zora Pradeep) novel Chapter 332

Chapter 332

The next morning, after dropping Isabella off at school, Maggie drove back to Cole.

Before today, she had already met two leads in the autonomous vehicle industry through Johnny, but after talking with them, she didn’t feel either was quite the right fit.

To find a more suitable partner, she and Johnny attended a cocktail party that evening.

They arrived relatively early. After chatting with a few people, they noticed Franklin and Julia across the room.

Maggie and Johnny quickly averted their gazes.

Maybe their reaction was too obvious, because Franklin and Julia didn’t bother coming over to greet them either.

A short while later, Rex and Yves arrived.

Spotting tBeker Group of fourFranklin, Julia, Maggie, and JohnnyRex came over to greet the latter two first.

Mr. Gray, Miss Miller, long time no see.

It had been a while since they’d last met.

Maggie and Johnny both nodded politely, their expressions flat.

They still weren’t particularly fond of Rex.

Not wanting to make things awkward, Rex didn’t linger. After saying hello, he made his way over to Franklin and Julia.

Mr. Wilson. Miss Brown.

Franklin gave a slight nod. Julia glanced back, then smiled. Mr. Hardin. It’s been a while.

Rex looked at her and echoed, Yes, it has.

Though reluctant, he eventually looked away. Seeing that they seemed to be in the middle of a business conversation, he didn’t interrupt further and politely moved on.

While Maggie and Johnny came to the event with clear objectives, they were still constantly approached by others looking to network. The evening ended up being quite busy for them.

The same could be said for Franklin and Julia.

Back in the day, whenever Julia accompanied Franklin to events like this, she was clearly just a background figure.

~~~ Time
No one in the industry really took her seriously.
But now, everything had changed.
Whether Wilson Tech’s success came from Franklin’s help of her own abilities, the company now legally belonged to Juliaand she was on the verge of becoming a billionaire entrepreneur.
So tonight, many of the business elites at the party showed her noticeably more respect and enthusiasm.
It wasn’t just Julia herself who noticed this shiftothers did too.
Yves nudged Rex with his elbow. Honestly, on this point? You really gotta admit defeat.
A company worth tens of billions, handed over just like that Franklin really left him in the dust.
Rex said nothing.
Even though he saw Franklin as a romantic rival, when it came to Julia, he had to admithe couldn’t compete.
Looking at her figure from a distance, he murmured, She’s worth it.
Yves: .
Was that really necessary?
But clearly, both his childhood friend and Franklin were utterly captivated by Julialike they were willing to give up everything for her without regret. Yves couldn’t relate, so he didn’t say more.
