The news about the Jamison Group had already reached the Miller family.

Now that Maggie’s career was flourishing, both Jason and the Old Madam felt genuinely happy for her.

To celebrate her success, they arranged to have lunch together on Saturday.

When Jason’s car arrived near the restaurant and was about to pull into the parking garage, it nearly collided with a car coming from the other side.

After parking, Maggie and the rest of the Miller family–six of them in total–entered the restaurant first.

Thanks to Old Madam Miller’s change of heart, their group’s mood wasn’t much affected.

But the same couldn’t be said for the Brown and Green families.

Watching the Miller family walk in ahead of them, none of them–Old Madam Brown, Madam Green, or Julia–looked pleased.

They had all heard about what happened with the Jamison Group.

Even though, with Franklin’s help, Wilson Tech now had a clearer direction, there was no denying their previous

investments had essentially gone down the drain.

Worse yet, they only now had direction.

What Wilson Tech’s actual future held was still a complete unknown.

Beyond that, both Madam Green and Old Madam Brown were deeply unsettled.

At the Jamison Group press conference, Maggie had publicly acknowledged her contributions, and the CEO himself

had stated that all the tech being used in the collaboration with Cole came from Maggie alone.

If that were true… then Maggie’s current worth could easily reach tens of billions.

But–hey could that be?

How could Maggie possibly possess such impressive technology?

Was it really all her doing, with no help from Johnny?
