Chapter 48
Over at the side, after heating this, Jessica had more or less figured out the identities of Logan and his family.
“Ah, so they’re just a bunch of scumbags,” she muttered softly, then quickly paid and grabbed Maggie’s arm, heading for the
“Mag,” Logan called out, stopping them. He walked over and said,
gir aunt really cares about you. She’s always thinking about you. You and Julie are sisters, family. Like with this Cole siliation, your father hopes this kind of thing never happens again.”
Maggie laughed, her expression cold. “Are you trying to disgust me on purpose?”
“You-”
“Auntie, if she doesn’t want to, then she doesn’t want to. And even if she does, my sister still wouldn’t want to. What’s her

“Are you done talking?” Maggie looked at him, her eyes cold. “If you’re done, you can leave.”
Tracy, who had been silent until now, fanned the flames, “Mag, how can you speak to your father like this?”
Sophia echoed. “Exactly, you have no manners!”
Maggie replied coldly, “I have no manners? At least I don’t go around becoming a mistress.”
“Your”
“Enough.” Logan said, disappointed, seeing that Maggie wouldn’t listen. “Let’s go.”
