By Sunday afternoon, Maggie planned to have dinner and head back home.

At that moment, she received a call from the old lady.

“Mag. I called Frank this morning and asked him to come to the resort tonight to pick you up. Has he contacted you?”

No, he hadn’t.

They had agreed to come together to the hot spring resort, but Franklin had yet to show up, and he hadn’t even called her.

Not only that, Isabella also hadn’t contacted her after sneaking off the day before.

But she didn’t intend to mention that to the old lady to avoid trouble.

After asking about the old lady’s health, they hung up the phone.

After the sun went down. Maggie had dinner at the hot spring resort.

The old lady had said that Franklin would come to pick her up, but by around 9 PM, when she was still waiting at the resort. Franklin had still not arrived.

The hot spring resort was far from her place, and it would take more than an hour and a half to get back.

Maggie didn’t want to wait any longer.

She asked the hot spring resort to arrange a car to take her back.

Once in the car, Maggie felt somewhat drowsy.

She wasn’t sure how much time had passed, but she was suddenly woken by the sound of her phone ringing.

It was a call from Jessica

Maggie answered the phone. “Jessie?”

“Damn it! That bitch!”
