From Best Friend To Fiancé (Savannah and Roman) novel Chapter 131

**TITLE: Dreams Folding Into Broken Time**
**Chapter 84: The Strongest Method**

**Savannah**

I stirred from sleep at a glacial pace, my limbs heavy and lethargic as if I had been wrung out like a damp cloth, left to languish in a state of utter exhaustion. The sheets clung to my skin, clammy and uncomfortable, a constant reminder of the events that had transpired between us.

As I shifted slightly, my thighs brushed together, and a soft hiss escaped my lips as I bit down on my bottom lip in response to the sensation. Goodness. The tenderness was overwhelming. My body ached in places I had never even considered could ache. There was a deep, pulsing soreness radiating from my belly, an ache that sent tremors through me if I dared to stretch even a little. Even the faintest touch of fabric against my sensitive skin sent shivers coursing through me, as if my nerves had been rewired overnight.

With a groan, I flopped an arm over my face, burying myself in the crook of my elbow. I felt utterly wrecked. That’s precisely what he had done to me—left me raw, sore, and utterly ruined, and all in the most shameless way possible, using nothing but his mouth and fingers.

The mattress dipped beside me, and I didn’t even need to turn my head to know who it was. I felt his warmth enveloping me, his presence consuming the space around us. Roman had a way of entering a room that made it feel like he was the only thing that mattered. His voice, lazy and inviting, slid under my skin like a warm caress.

“Mmm.” A low chuckle escaped him. “You’re sore, aren’t you?”

In a flash, my hand shot down to yank the sheet higher over my chest, even though I knew he had seen every inch of me already. “Shut up, Roman.”

He leaned in closer, his lips brushing against the shell of my ear, and I could have sworn that the lightest touch of his breath could ignite the fire within me all over again. “Don’t bother hiding. I can hear it in your words. Smell it on your skin.” His hand slid beneath the sheet without a hint of hesitation, shamelessly resting on my thigh. “I left you dripping, my love. Did you really think you’d wake up untouched?”

Heat coiled low in my belly, despite the persistent ache, my treacherous body responding to his words with a spark of desire. I pressed my thighs together, wincing at the soreness that flared up in protest. “You—you broke me last night, you freak.”

Roman smirked against my temple, his thumb tracing lazy circles on the sensitive skin of my inner thigh until a gasp escaped my lips. “Broke you? No. I’d never break you.” His voice dripped with seduction. “I trained you. And now your body remembers exactly who it belongs to.”

My cheeks flared with heat, a tangle of shame and arousal swirling within me until I couldn’t discern which feeling was more potent. A soft whimper slipped past my lips before I could swallow it down, and of course, he caught it. His laughter was dark and knowing, saturated with promises of what was to come.

“Still sore,” he murmured, his fingers inching higher, “but still hungry for more. My naughty girl.”
