From Discarded Wife to Queen (Tyrone) novel Chapter 135

Once Cast–Off Wife, Now Untouchable Queen

Chapter 135 Foolishness

Brad let out a long and heavy sigh. “Ty, open your eyes. Aella doesn’t love you anymore.”

The two men stared each other down. The silence between them grew thick.

Tyrone’s face turned hard and cold. “She does. She’ll always love me.”

Brad’s mouth curled into a cruel grin. His laugh was sharp and mocking. “You really don’t know, do you? She told me everything. She said she felt nothing when you went off to Zera and her kid. She even said she was happy drinking with Sixer.”

Their eyes clashed again, unflinching.

Tyrone stayed quiet. His jaw tightened.

Brad leaned in, his voice cutting deep. “If she still cared for you, she wouldn’t be pushing you into Zera’s arms.”

He narrowed his gaze and struck harder.

“You don’t even love her. Be honest, Ty. Can you really live with her in another man’s bed?”

When Brad finally left, Tyrone stepped onto the balcony. He lit a cigarette and watched the smoke twist into the night air. He admitted what he had buried deep. He did not love Aella.

But there was something else he could not deny. He’d never let her end up in another man’s hands.

By five in the morning, Tyrone still hadn’t slept. The bed was empty. Aella had not returned.

It was the second time she had shut off her phone and stayed out until dawn.

At six, the butler from the estate called. Edwin had fallen and been rushed to the hospital.

When Tyrone arrived, the Winters were already gathered. All of them.

Inside the ward, Ralph’s voice rumbled through the room. “Tyrone, why the hell are you the only one here?”

Tyrone lowered his head and said nothing.

Virginia broke the silence quickly. “Young people struggle in the mornings. It’s fine. We’re all

here.”

Ralph’s voice cut sharper. “Your grandfather’s in the hospital, and she’s still sleeping? Call her.

Tell her to bring breakfast.”

The tired lines under Tyrone’s eyes deepened. “Dad, I’ll ask her to come later.”

His sister Raine noticed his unease. She pulled out her phone and dialed Aella. Everyone heard the hollow ring end in silence. The phone was off.

Ralph turned toward Virginia.

“Call the butler. Tell him to drag her out if he has to.”

Virginia hesitated. It was the holidays. Edwin was in the hospital. Everyone was here, except Aella. Her absence was shameful.

Just as Virginia reached for her phone, Raine’s call lit up again. Aella was calling back.

Rain answered and then turned to the family.

“She said she’s on her way.”

Tyrone’s fists curled tight at his sides.
