Armeria “Amie” Winstone is nearing her eighteenth birthday in one of the strongest werewolf packs. While most werewolves gain their wolf between ages sixteen and seventeen, Amie still has not received hers. This makes her feel weak, insecure, and fearful of being seen as a disappointment. Despite this, she has a loving family and a close connection to the pack’s leaders, having grown up alongside the Alpha’s son, James.
During the full moon celebration on the night she turns eighteen, Amie discovers her fated mate by scent—James, the future Alpha and her childhood friend. However, instead of joy, the moment turns devastating when James publicly rejects her. He claims that she cannot be his Luna because she does not have her wolf, and he believes the pack needs a strong leader’s mate. His rejection shatters Amie emotionally and brings silent shock across the pack.
The aftermath creates tension between the families. Amie’s parents are heartbroken and furious, willing to challenge the Alpha to defend their daughter. Amie realizes her presence will cause division, broken alliances, and pain for the pack. Feeling like a burden and unwilling to be the reason her family suffers, she quietly decides to leave. Before dawn, she packs her belongings, writes a loving goodbye letter to her parents and brother, and leaves her home and pack behind, stepping into an uncertain future alone.

Chapter 105-1
Alpha Jonas and I were deep in discussion regarding the alliance wo both wanted. Their pack was in the top twenty packs, and more intportantly they shared many of our moral beliefs.
‘Honey,‘ Amie mindlinked me to get my attention. I looked at her and saw her look in the opposite direction. I looked the same way and smirked as I saw Ramses and his new mate come walking. Both were sporting a new mate mark. They had been gone for a couple of hours and looked happy as they walked up to us. Ramses d a relaxed, soft smile on his face I had never seen on him before. It made him look younger and I liked it. Kalya had a determined look on her face.
“Mom, dad. Alpha Finlay and Luna Amie, Ramses and I have decided what we want to do. I’m going to be moving to the Blue Mountain pack. I love our pack, but I need a change and Ramses has built a house that is waiting for us. I know we will be happy wherever we are so that is what we will do,” she told us. Her parents were smiling.
“That is nice, bug, but it’s custom to ask the Alpha of the pack you are moving to if that’s okay,” her father told her and chuckled.
“Oh shit. I’m sorry Alpha Finlay, Luna Amie. May I please join your pack?” Kalya asked and turned towards us. I liked her. Amie looked at me and we both laughed.
“We would be happy to have you,” I told her. “Ramses why don’t you go back with the Winter Peak pack and help your mate pack and get ready to leave. We will make sure the two of you get back home when it’s time. We can spare you for a week or two,” I
added..
“Lappreciate it, Alpha. If it’s okay with you Alpha Jonas?” Ramses said.
“You are family, it’s just Jonas. And it sounds like a great idea. That way our family can say goodbye without feeling rushed.” The couple walked away to get some food.
“Thank you for letting him come back with us,” Luna Beatrice said.
“I have been told he was a menace to the pack,” Amie added with a giggle. Luna Beatrice giggled as well. The two had fast become friends. Alpha Jonas and I exchanged an amused look.
“I’ll be right back,” I told Amie and kissed her cheek. “Don’t go anywhere,” I added, just to be sure.

“What?” I asked. He smiled at me and looked down on the bowl in my hand.
