Game of Destiny by Dripping Creativity novel Chapter 123

Battle of Fate Summary

Armeria “Amie” Winstone is nearing her eighteenth birthday in one of the strongest werewolf packs. While most werewolves gain their wolf between ages sixteen and seventeen, Amie still has not received hers. This makes her feel weak, insecure, and fearful of being seen as a disappointment. Despite this, she has a loving family and a close connection to the pack’s leaders, having grown up alongside the Alpha’s son, James.

During the full moon celebration on the night she turns eighteen, Amie discovers her fated mate by scent—James, the future Alpha and her childhood friend. However, instead of joy, the moment turns devastating when James publicly rejects her. He claims that she cannot be his Luna because she does not have her wolf, and he believes the pack needs a strong leader’s mate. His rejection shatters Amie emotionally and brings silent shock across the pack.

The aftermath creates tension between the families. Amie’s parents are heartbroken and furious, willing to challenge the Alpha to defend their daughter. Amie realizes her presence will cause division, broken alliances, and pain for the pack. Feeling like a burden and unwilling to be the reason her family suffers, she quietly decides to leave. Before dawn, she packs her belongings, writes a loving goodbye letter to her parents and brother, and leaves her home and pack behind, stepping into an uncertain future alone.

Game of Destiny

Chapter 113-1

I woke up feeling something was off. My brain was too sleepy to figure out what was off. It was still dark outside and Finlay was sound asleep with his arm slung over me. I smiled and tried to make my brain work. I scrunched my nose. Was there something new in the house that was throwing off my sense of smell? I took in a deep breath to identify what it was and froze.

“Finn,” I said and poked him in the side.

Whu?” he asked.

“Finn. Wake up.”

“Sweetheart, love of my life, the star that guides me, it’s too early. Get back to sleep,” he mumbled. For a moment I considered letting him continue sleeping, but then I would just be awake waiting for him.

“Finlay you better wake up,” I told him a little sharper. He opened his eyes and looked at me.

“This isn’t about a quicky, is it?” he asked and wiggled his nose. His subconsciousness was already picking up on what I had

discovered.

“No. It sounds nice, but it isn’t why I woke you up at three in the morning,” I agreed. Then there was silence. He looked at me, I

looked at him.

“So?” he asked.

“Has anything changed?” I asked.

“Did you get a haircut and I didn’t notice it? In that case, I’m sorry,” he told me. I giggled.

“Idiot! I wouldn’t wake you in the middle of the night for something like that.”

“Then wha…” He fell silent mid sentence. His eyes grew bigger and he scented the air. As his eyes grew even bigger, so did my smile. He threw his head back and howled. I put my hand over his mouth as I laughed.

Chapter 123 1

“A pup,” I agreed. He placed gentle kisses all over my stomach and then came back up and kissed my lips.

“You just keep making me happier,” he told me.

“I think this is on both of us.” He laughed.

“I guess so. Wow. This is big. We will be a family of three.I smiled as I listened to him. “We will need to get a nursery set up. We need to pup proof the house. What if they walk around and fall down the stairs! He looked so worried I thought for a moment he would get out of bed to fix the issue at once.

Chapter 123 2

“Right,” he said with a little chuckle. “We will make a list and we will prioritise it, so we start with the most pressing things.I giggled and kissed him.

It sounds like something we should do during the day.

Agreed. You should get back to sleep, I think you need more sleep when you are pregnant, and more food, I think.”

“Don’t get any ideas of me laying on the couch while you feed me all day long. Won’t happen. We both know Matilda will make sure

I eat appropriately. And I’m too excited to go back to sleep.
