Chapter 1331: A God

Tsssss.

Steam filled the room as Andromeda opened up. Sylas had really pushed it long and hard, the amount of Aetherstones in the vicinity having plummeted by an entire 70% in just the last week or so.

He had no idea just how much he had used, but what was plainly obvious was that Andromeda had nearly overheated during the entire process.

It seemed that even for a UniForge designed to be used by C-tier powerhouses, the might of a Perfect Spark Mastery—even at the F-Grade—was already nearing its limits.

The leap in logic, the innate understandings, the subtle grasps of the world that Sylas had now were simply too much. From his calculations, he would at best be able to use Andromeda like this up to the E-tier, and it certainly wouldn’t be able to withstand a Perfect E-Grade Spark Mastery.

It would implode.

This could only be said to be a double-edged sword. On the one hand, it was a good thing that Sylas’ natural capabilities were growing to the point that even Andromeda couldn’t sustain it. But on the other, he would likely soon have to rely on himself.

But for now... it didn’t matter.

Sylas looked down at his palm, feeling as though his hands had grown larger. There was a flicker of darkness in the depths of his swimming, emerald eyes, the various shades of green forming thin threads that wove like lines of fate hidden in the depths of the universe.

Subconsciously, his vision seemed to zoom into his palms. From his entire hand, he focused on the faint lines that arced across his palm, and then it zoomed in further to bunches of clumped cells, and then even further until he could practically see the inner workings.

The sheer number of cells was absolutely astonishing. It felt like the number of small networks that formed the mesh of his body had increased hundreds of fold, blooming to the point that even with his sight, it was hard to decipher them at all.

His Tier 1 Eyes alone should have been enough for this kind of zoom. But Sylas’ body had changed so much and compacted itself to such an extent that it wasn’t until he reached Tier 3 that he was actually able to see his individual cells and the building blocks of his body.

Chi. Chi. Chi.

Sylas blinked and his vision returned to normal. He looked down to the floor around his feet to see that cracks were spreading out from it in all directions.

There was another flicker in his eyes, hints of confusion weeding their way into his psyche before he understood.

His Will was too strong.

He could withstand it now, but the world around him couldn’t. Just hints of leaking aura from his eyes were actually breaking down the fabric of the materials around him. He barely glanced at the ground, and the cracks actually accelerated.

Sylas blinked again, this time more deliberate, and the subtle movement in his irises slowed and reined in his leaking Will. It was only then that the cracking slowed and came to a stop.

’This material...’

The room Sylas was in right now wasn’t normal by any stretch of the imagination. The materials that made up the ground alone were all D-tier in toughness and sturdiness, but they actually showed signs of crumbling.

Of course, natural materials like this were even more susceptible to having lower-Grade Runes within them. However, on the other hand, they were also far better at hiding those weaknesses than the treasures Sylas usually targeted.

There was nothing in nature that was naturally uniform, perfect, and made of just a single material. So these materials were naturally also capable of protecting themselves properly.

But it was like Sylas’ eyes ignored their defenses and struck right at their weaknesses without even his input.

Sylas shook his head and then saw something that took him off guard.
