Chapter 29
Evangelina’s POV
After I let Dalya know we will need her for transportation, I go to change from my sweatpants and t–shirt to
flexible attire. If it was just the girls I would drop them off and look into the future to see what happens, then
leave with or without them.
Now that Marie and Linc are going, especially as the girl’s mates, I as their Alpha, need to be there. The normal way a pack works is, both Alpha’s come together and give their blessing for one to leave a pack and the other to join. This ensures there is no snag in the process. Being that we are technically rogues, I am going for the blessing reason, and for the reason that this probably isn’t going to go as smoothly as we hope.
I changed into my black spandex pants, combat boots, purple tank top, and specialty made black leather jacket. The less material there is for an enemy to grab onto the better. My hair is pulled back in a tight bun that is held in place by two specialty made chopsticks that when pulled out turn into knife like sticks.
My leather jacket holds weapons and balls of wolvespane, and other herbs for different creatures. The balls are activated by pulling a pin and unlocking another safety measure when throwing. Kind of like a grenade,
but more controlled when released.
Dalya comes to my side with her fiery red hair and dark pink eyes. She is dressed in the same black pants and boots Lam, but wears a tight black T–shirt.
“Where are we going today?” She asks and I eye her warily.
“20 miles North of the royal pack border.” I say and her face is impassive. She has learned not to question where we go. 20 miles aways from the border gives the guards time to figure out that rogues are entering into the land. I am hoping that the girls can mindlink Henry to meet us. If not, I can show him memories once we get close enough, but then it might be too late.
“Sounds good. Who else are we waiting for?” She asks as the four people in question walk down the stairs. Marie is wearing the exact same thing I am, except a black tank top, and Linc is wearing black sport slacks with a white t–shirt and leather jacket. The jackets are a norm when we go out, you never know what you will run into. If we don’t wear the jackets then we wear a vest that can help take some magic if it is thrown at you.
The girls are wearing black leggings with their sneakers, and t–shirts. It doesn’t escape my notice that the t–shirts are that of their mates. Nali’s is tied at the front because it is at least 2 times bigger than her and Tali’s is actually fitting, just a little long.
Both the girls look relatively short next to their mates, standing at 5 ft 8 in, while Linc is 6ft 4in and Marie is.f
“Them.” I say and she looks wide eyed at the girls holding hands with my Beta and Gamma.
“Well, I’ll be. You two finally found your mates and they’re none other than the princesses themselves. Who would have thought?” Dalya says in disbelief, then her eyes grow sad.
“I hate to lose you two, but I am happy that you have found your mates.” Dalya says and Marie scowls, while Linc’s face is indifferent.
“Let’s just get this over with.” Marie says and I can’t help but agree. Dalya looks to me for confirmation and I

nod my head and hand her the coordinates to take us. We all grab each other’s hand and disappear nothingness of the portal.
A second later we land on solid ground and the girls steady themselves on their mates.
“Does it always make you feel dizzy after transporting?” Nali asks and looks around
Snswers her, giving her a reassuring smile
“No. The more you do it the more your body gets used to it.” Linc
The love and adoration in his eyes does not go unnoticed by me.
“Girls, I need you to try to mindlink Henry so that we don’t encounter many problems on the way to the castle. “I say and they look at me and nod their heads in understanding.
About five minutes into our walk I start getting this bad feeling that something is going to happen. I try to look into the future, but am given nothing.
Veena starts circling in my head. We are still not close enough to the royal border to be surrounded by the guards, so that means that it has to be something else.
