Andrew gently looked at her.
Debra tilted her head. "Did I get something on my face?"
"Hold tight to what you love. Don't let it slip away," he said, ruffling her hair.
She grabbed his hand mid-ruffle, firm and sudden. "I'm doing it right now."
"Silly girl," he chuckled.
He squeezed her hand back, then let go. "I meant the bracelet."
"I meant you," she giggled. "Jordan said yesterday I acted like the Potter Mansion is mine even though I'm not married yet. But I grew up here. To me, this is home. Besides my parents, you're the most important person in my life. I'm keeping you close and will never let go."
"You'll meet lots of people in life," he said. "Someday, someone else might matter more."
"Sure, I'll meet tons of people. But there's only one you. You're the most important to me."
Her eyes shone with certainty. For a split second, Andrew wavered.
"What do you think of Marion?" he asked, looking away.
