Goodbye, Mr. Ex: I've Remarried Mr. Right novel Chapter 1799

At the Huston Mansion, Lillian lay on the bed, wincing in pain. "Easy! Don't go so hard. Ow!"

Solomon sat on the edge, scraping her leg with a board. "Quit making those noises."

"It hurts," Lillian protested. "You've been abroad for two years. How did you even get so strong?"

Solomon tossed the board at her. "Your turn."

Lillian grumbled, dragging herself up. Sitting on the edge of the bed, she started scraping Solomon's leg as he lay face-down.

"We gotta figure out how to ditch Uncle Jordan," she said. "He's brutal. I don't know what got into him today. 20 kilometers with weight? My legs are killing me."

"Something's up overseas," Solomon said, his voice low. "That's why he's pushing us to train hard. Gotta be ready for whatever's coming."

His 18th birthday had just passed when his parents called him back. Fermin had him rush to Seamar City overnight.

It couldn't be just about taking over the Osborne Group. Something bigger was brewing.

A few nights ago, Fermin's study light stayed on late. Trouble was in the air.

"If something's happening overseas, aren't my parents in danger?" Lillian's voice trembled. "I'm calling them."
