Chapter 233
Winifred scrambled up, and the two of them started a full–blown pillow fight.
Winifred was surprisingly strong, relentlessly whacking Amber with the pillow and pinning her down on the bed so she couldn’t even budge.
Amber wasn’t about to lose. She fought back with everything she had, and the pillow tore open, feathers exploding into the air and filling the room as the two of them went at it like mortal enemies.
When Sienna walked into her room, she saw her two sisters wrestling on her bed, feathers filling the entire room like a never–ending
snowstorm
Sienna couldn’t help but shake her head, her eyes full of helpless affection.
“Stop it,” Sienna said.
“Sienna Winifred and Amber called out.
The moment they saw Sienna, both of them instantly chickened out. They dropped whatever was in their hands, stopped fighting, and kat obediently on the bed, nervously eyeing the disaster zone around them, looking like a pair of total messes.
“What’s going on here?” Sienna said.
Winifred pointed straight at Amber. It was her. Sienna, I was just sitting here, not bothering anyone, and the second Amber saw me, jumped me.”
“I–I–No way, that’s not true. Sienna, she’s totally making that up Amber stammered.
Winifred let out a cold snort, looking down at Amber from above, totally unbothered
she
“Amber always acts like she can do whatever she wants just because she’s the youngest. She pushes everyone around all day, and I keep letting it slide,” Winifred complained.
Amber was about to explode. She shot a panicked look at Sienna, terrified Sienna might actually take Winifred’s side.
“Sienna, that’s not true. Winifred’s making it up. Don’t listen to her, please,” Amber blurted out. She sniffled, both angry and anxious, scared Sienna would get the wrong idea about her.
“Amber, I was going to let it go, but this time you’ve really gone too far. Just look at the mer
ess you made in Sienna’s room. Winifred said

“I–I— It wasn’t me, I swear, Amber stammered, completely flustered and unable to defend herself. She started bawling, feeling totally wronged. Sienna quickly walked over and gently wiped away her tears.
“Amber, don’t cry. I believe you, okay? There, there, don’t cry, Sienna said softly.
Winifred pouted, thinking, ‘Seriously? All she ever does is cry. Can’t even keep up with me when we play, so lame.”
“Sienna, it was all her. She started it.” Amber pointed at Winifred, whining her accusation.
Winifred was stunned for a moment.
Sienna sighed, “Alright, this room’s a disaster; no one can sleep here tonight. I’ll crash in Winifred’s room, and as punishment, you two are sharing a bed. No arguments, Go on, and get moving”
Neither Winifred nor Amber dared make Sienna mad, so they obediently hugged their pillows and trudged off to Amber’s room.
When Sienna walked into Winifred’s room, she spotted a little black snake curled up in a box on the nightstand, fast asleep. It was so chubby it hardly looked like a snake at all.
Sienna walked over, and the snake, Lazzy, woke up. When it saw Sienna, It started wriggling excitedly, trying to get closer to her.
Sienna reached out and patted its head. “Go to sleep.”
Lizzy hissed twice, then curled itself up again, coiling into a perfect little spiral like a coil.
