Chapter 262
Elara stumbled back, her finger trembling as she pointed at Sienna. “No way! How are you here?”
Elara stared at Sienna standing before her in disbelief.com/
Sienna’s gaze swept over her coolly. “Didn’t you want to cut me into pieces? I figured I’d give you a shot. Wouldn’t want to seem like a heartless boss, now would I?“.
“You-” Elara’s face drained of color, a chill rising from her feet and wrapping around her whole body.
“Hazel, so what if you’re here? You’re all alone, and this place is packed with my people. I’m going to tear you apart. All because you took what was mine first.” Elara shouted.
Elara straightened her back, clutching her gun even tighter, trying to psych herself up.
‘She’s just one person. What am I afraid of? Elara told herself.
‘As long as I kill her, the entire Umbra Organization will be mine–all mine!‘ she thought, her eyes burning
greed.
Don’t be scared! Shoot her! She’s just one person. No matter how good she is, she can’t take on all of us at once!” Elara yelled.
As soon as Elara finished speaking, Sienna let out a low chuckle, her eyes brimming with disdain. “Are you blind? Why did you actually think I came here alone?”
With that, Sienna snapped her fingers. Instantly, a whole squad of tall, armed figures emerged from the shadows of the jungle. Overhead, helicopters blazed on their searchlights, flooding the entire area with blinding light.
Faced with such an overwhelming show of force, the people on Elara’s side went weak in the knees, collapsing to the ground in terror.
Elara’s eyes went wide with disbelief. ‘When did all these people get here? How did I not notice a thing?‘ she thought, stunned.
Lana, seeing Sienna arrive, was overjoyed–she felt as if a huge weight had finally been lifted from her shoulders. She beamed at Sienna, her eyes sparkling with excitement.
“Hazel, don’t come any closer! What do you want? You can’t kill me. You owe my father, and I’m the Sterling family’s only daughter.” Elara stammered.
Elara’s whole body trembled, her face ashen as she kept backing away. ‘She wouldn’t really kill me, would she?‘ she thought desperately.
‘No way. She wouldn’t dare. Elara tried to convince herself.
Sienna kept advancing, a predatory grin spreading across her face. “So what?”
“Ah-
Before Sienna’s words even faded, no one saw when Sienna made her move. Elara clutched her eyes, stumbling backward. “My eyes! Hazel, how dare you!”
“Cut into a thousand pieces–I really like that idea.” Sienna said with a chilling smile, “I wonder if someone could actually survive it. Someone! Get to work and don’t lose count. A thousand pieces.”
“No! You can’t do this to me. My father is–Ah! My face!” Elara shrieked, her voice filled with agony.
Elara was in agony, writhing as knife after knife slashed open wound after wound on her body, blood gushing out.
She was filled with regret–real, bone–deep regret. She never should’ve crossed Sienna.
“Boss Lana walked over to Sienna, looking utterly exhausted and fragile after surviving more than ten days in the jungle. Sienna gave her a reassuring pat on the shoulder. “You’ve been through a lot.”
Sienna glanced at the people on the ground. “Get out.”
