Chapter 353
He hadn’t expected her to be onto him so soon.
“I don’t know what photo you’re talking about,” Fay said, denying it outright.
A murderous look flashed in Winifred’s eyes. “We’ll see about that. Show it to me
Fay’s face darkened. Inside.”
He turned to leave, assuming Winifred would follow. She had no other way out. But in the next second, she bolted.
His people moved as one, swarming to intercept her, but they all underestimated her skill. The person she’d brought with her was no slouch either.
Just as Winifred was about to break through the perimeter, Fay appeared, blocking her path.
“This isn’t a place you can just come and go as you please.” Fay’s voice was cold.
Fay pulled out a pistol and pressed it to Winifred’s forehead. This woman was too unpredictable to take any chances.
“Die now, or tell me who you
are.” He said.
Winifred’s sharp gaze remained defiant.
Fay was still wondering at her composure, thinking she must have backup, when a sharp sting pierced his arm
He looked down to see a small snake latched onto his flesh before it slithered away into the bushes.
Within seconds, his already pale face turned ghostly white, his lips taking on a dark, bruised color. He was clearly poisoned.
He tried to pull the trigger, but his body felt weak, his grip on the gun failing.
Winifred seized the opportunity, snatching the gun from his hand and kicking him squarely. She thought he’d be down for the count, but he grabbed her leg as he fell
They were locked in a fierce struggle, neither able to gain the
upper
hand.
Even poisoned, Fay was a formidable opponent. Winifred knew he had to belong to a major organization.
“You’re asking for it!” Winifred launched another attack, twisting his arm.
With a thud, Fay hit the ground. She quickly pinned him, fishing the photograph from his pocket.
Gazing at the familiar face in the picture, Winifred’s expression turned icy, Who was this man, and why did he have a picture of her
Was he planning to harm Sienna?
“Tell me! Who is the woman in this photo?” Winifred asked.
Seeing his picture was gone, Fay grew frantic, lunging desperately to get it back.
But his head was spinning. The snake bite on his arm burned, feeling as if the venom was seeping directly into his veins.
“Give that back to me,” Fay growled, reaching for her.
Winifred kicked him hard in the stomach.
Fay let out a muffled grunt and fell back to the ground.
Winifred was surprised by his resolve. He had been bitten by Lizzy and was still fighting this hard.
If he was one of Sienna’s enemies, he couldn’t be allowed to live.
“I said, don’t touch my things Fay staggered to his feet and charged again.

Winifred sidestepped, narrowly avoiding his tackle.
“I’ll ask you again. Who is the person in this picture to you?” Winifred repeated.
Fay let out a bitter laugh and pulled out a dagger, ready to take her down with him. That photo could not fall into anyone else’s hands. He had to kill her, no matter the cost.
“You are really willing to die for this? All I did was ask a question, Winifred said. “The person in this photo must mean everything to
you.
