Chapter 363
Hudson turned his head with a blank face, silently complaining in his heart, Aren’t these two pictures exactly the same?”
“What’s the difference? he thought.
He managed a smile. The first one looks better.”
Amber agreed, “I think so. But 111 just keep both.”
Hudson was speechless.
Amber had splurged on a pricey bracelet for Sienna. It was expensive, but when it came to Sienna, no price was too high.
She’d even picked out a men’s watch while she was at it.
Hudson’s lips quirked up in a subtle smile. “Without a doubt, this watch must be for me, he thought to himself.
He deliberately leaned in close, coughed into his fist twice. “Ahem.”
Amber looked at him. puzzled. “The water’s over there.”
“I’m not thirsty,” Hudson said.
“Ahem,” he coughed again. Amber frowned and quickly stepped back, her face full of alarm. “If you’re sick, go to the hospital. Don’t get
The sick.”
“You!” Hudson was both annoyed and exasperated, thinking to himself, “Amber, you little dummy
He reached out and grabbed her cheek.
“Whap!” Amber smacked his hand away, glaring at him. “Who said you could touch me? Don’t forget your role here.”
Hudson let out a frustrated laugh. “And who am I supposed to be again?”
Amber put her hands on her hips and lifted her chin. “You’re the bodyguard I hired. Two hundred dollars a day! And you dare pinch my face? I’m docking you one hundred.”
Hudson was speechless. Two hundred? That wouldn’t even get you the worst bodyguard in our company, he thought.
With that, Amber grabbed the watch and headed back to her room. Tomorrow, Jaxon Palmer was coming to pick her up from the airport, and she figured she should have a gift ready for him.
This watch was just right
Hudson trailed behind Amber, pulling her pink suitcase.
“Amber!” Jaxon spotted Amber in her pink miniskirt and waved excitedly, jogging over to her.
The moment Hudson saw Jaxon, his face instantly clouded over.
“Jaxon!” Amber called out.
Jaxon’s cheeks turned bright red as he looked at Amber, then shyly brought out the bouquet of roses he’d been hiding.
“Did you have fun? These are for you,” he said, offering her the flowers.
Amber felt a little embarrassed, and just as she was about to take the flowers, Hudson swooped in, grabbed the roses, and without a second thought, dumped them right into the trash.
Amber’s hand was left hanging awkwardly in midair, and both she and Jaxon froze, totally dumbfounded.
Hudson put on a straight face and said, “Miss Hart, didn’t you say you were allergic to roses?”
Amber was fuming, shooting daggers at him. “Hudson! When did I ever say I was allergic to roses? Are you crazy or what? Why the hell

He glanced up at Hudson, thinking. Someone like Hudson would never be Amber’s bodyguard if it weren’t for Sienna. He’s only doing this as a favor to her”
