Chapter 385
Vivian replied, “Everything’s great at Hart Corporation. Profits went up again last month. Sienna, now that you’re pregnant, you should really take it easy. Just leave all the company stuff to me–I can handle everything, I promise nothing will go wrong.
She could now stand on her own, and it was all because of Sienna’s support. Without Sienna, Vivian wouldn’t be who she was today.
“I’m so proud of you, Vivian. You’ve really grown up,” Sienna said with a warm smile, gently patting her head.
Three months later, Sienna’s baby bump began to show. She wore a loose, apricot–colored dress, and the setting sun cast a gentle glow over her, making her look softer and more radiant than ever.
Julian set the herbal prenatal tonic on the small table to cool, then quietly walked over and hugged her from behind. His fingers trembled a little as he gently caressed her belly.
His heart couldn’t help but race he held his breath, overwhelmed by the thought that the woman he loved was carrying his child
The baby was like a bond, tying the two of them together even more tightly than before.
Julian was so overwhelmed with excitement and joy, he could barely contain himself.
“The wind’s picking up today. Lep
stand here for just a bit longer, then head back,” he said gently
Sienna tilted her head. Julian, do you think it’ll be a boy or a girl?”
Julian rubbed his head affectionately against hers, his voice soft and full of love. “As long as it’s your baby, boy or girl, I’ll love them all. the same.”
Lana caught sight of this tender moment, her steps faltering. She stood frozen for a while before finally mustering up the courage to walk over
“Ms. Hart, Sally Monroe arrived in the country today and insists on meeting you,” Lana said.
“Sally Monroe? Alright, set up a meeting. Sienna replied.
Julian felt a bit worried. Honestly, he didn’t want her to have to deal with all this, but he knew she had her own huge business to run.
These confidential matters were out of his hands–he couldn’t interfere, and he knew better than to try.
He gently took her hand. “I’ll go with you.”
Sienna shook her head. 1ll be fine. Lana and the others will be with me. Things are a bit complicated between Sally Monroe and me!
He nodded. “Alright, I understand. Just have a few sips of the calming tonic first, okay?”
Lana set up the meeting for noon the next day.
Sienna arrived at the restaurant ten minutes early, only to find Sally already sitting there, waiting for her
“Ms. Monroe, it’s been a while, Sienna said, her tone as cool and composed as ever.
Sally, a woman with long dark hair, quickly stood up when she heard Sienna’s voice, smiling as she shook her hand.
“Hazel, it’s been so long! I heard you’ve been in Solara all this time and even found your family. I’m really happy for you, Sally said warmly.
“Thanks–Let’s sit down and talk, Sienna said gesturing for them to take their seats.
As Sienna sat down, Sally’s eyes went wide in shock when she noticed Sienna’s belly. “You’re married? To Thorn Noir?” she blurted out, clearly surprised
