He Cheated I Rose: Making Him Regret Everything (Chloe and Arthur) novel Chapter 369

**Chapter 369: The Man Who Claimed It**

Scott had reached his limit. The atmosphere was charged, and this was hardly the moment for Carolyn and Monique to stir the pot with their pointed insinuations.

“Carolyn, that’s enough—” he began, but his words were swiftly drowned out.

“Dad,” Carolyn interjected, her expression a mix of feigned innocence and genuine curiosity, “wasn’t there a corporate video prepared? Shouldn’t we show it to our guests? I heard the production team worked tirelessly through the night to finish it. If everyone wants to grasp the essence of the Lewis Group’s story, they should definitely see it, don’t you think?”

As if on cue, Ernesto, ever the supportive ally, chimed in from the floor, “That video was crafted by the PR team after several all-nighters. It truly is worth watching.”

The murmurs of agreement began to ripple through the crowd, encouraging Scott to relent.

“Mr. Lewis, we’ve all been eagerly awaiting this film. Could the staff play it already?” one shareholder called out, his excitement palpable.

“Absolutely! I even made a cameo—I can’t wait to see how it turned out,” another chimed in, enthusiasm lighting up his face.

“Make your announcement first, Mr. Lewis. You can tackle… other matters afterward,” someone else suggested, the tone in the room shifting as curiosity took hold.

The anticipation was electric, and even the media reporters positioned themselves, cameras trained on the large screen set up behind the stage, ready to capture the moment.

Carolyn turned to Scott, her shoulders lifting in a dramatic shrug. “Dad, I was just thinking out loud. Chloe, please don’t take it the wrong way. It’s just… you’re single now, and there’s no man in your life. Where would you get such a finely tailored coat? My mind just went to the obvious place.” There was an artful hint of vulnerability in her expression, a calculated move to elicit sympathy.

Chloe, observing her sister’s smug demeanor, couldn’t help but allow a small smile to escape. “Since my sister seems so concerned about this coat, perhaps it’s time I clarify a few things.”

“This jacket…” Chloe began, her fingers delicately skimming the tailored wool, its texture rich and luxurious.

“The coat she’s wearing is mine.”
