Heiress Unmasked: Shaking the World With Geomancy novel Chapter 2276

Back at the mystic school, Shannon and Benjamin stood before the array. It had been 30 minutes since Thalia and the others left, but the couple had no means of departing just yet.

She flipped through another notebook that Mike had left behind. It was protected by a spell formation that prevented anyone except specific individuals from peeking inside.

As it happened, Shannon was one of those very few.

For the past two years, she had fully concentrated on manifesting her tenth tail, and she finished her mystic school curriculum ahead of schedule.

Meanwhile, Mike, Lexie, and Skylar had been busy in their respective endeavors.

Regarding the array that connected to the alternate world, Mike had recorded numerous fragmented notes, most of which were his speculations and designs based on the arrays left behind by Ghost Mist, summoned by Vlad.

In his notes, the arrays extended from The Rift weren't just barriers to block out putrefaction and isolate the seas; they were also designed to use the abyssal space of The Rift as a bridge between two worlds.

According to his hypothesis, The Rift could open a stable passage linking both realms and potentially cause them to overlap within certain domains.

Shannon lingered in that train of thought for a long time. After a while, she asked Benjamin, "Do you remember when Grandmother mentioned the goal of the Alternate Divine Power?"

Without waiting for his answer, she began recounting what Louise had confessed to her.

"To assume the role of the Divine Power, replacing it and taking over the world… Once everything is reset, the two parallel worlds will merge into one."

Knowing all this, Shannon had spent the next two years desperately cultivating, aiming to summon the Divine Power with her tenth tail power earlier. She wanted to gain the strength to rival the Alternate Divine Power.

As she looked at Mike's notes, she couldn't shake an uneasy feeling.

Benjamin naturally remembered their earlier discussions about the Alternate Divine Power and also recalled that he had promised to be by her side.

However, he didn't understand why she was bringing this up now.

His gaze fell on the notebook in her hands, noticing as she used a spell to erase the spell formation blocking the notes from prying eyes before handing it over to him.

If it wasn't a coincidence, there was only one possibility left—Vlad had been working with the Alternate Divine Power from the very beginning.

Whether it was an alliance between the Alternate Divine Power and Vlad, or if his malice had invaded it, neither was good news.

The former was still manageable; with the two worlds cooperating and Vlad dead, their true enemy would only be the Alternate Divine Power.

But if it was the latter…

"That means Vlad might not be dead."

Or perhaps the Vlad from this world had been killed, except the other version of him in the alternate world lived…

With that thought, Shannon suddenly turned toward the array.
